Suddenly they all in the courtroom heard the shrill sound of an ambulance getting closer and closer.

As the ambulance approached Richard remained at Nigel's side , holding his hand, gazing at his face.
In his head he saw himself leaning towards Nigel at the altar and kissing him.

The ambulance came to a stop before where they were and the paramedics quickly ran over to them.
