Luci came into the library for morning free period with an armful of textbooks. She made a face as she saw Theodore and Alan sitting at a nearby table with their own open textbooks and laptops; although they were more interested in gazing into each other's lovesick eyes over studying anything in the very beginning of their freshman year of high school. They were back together again and even more sickening than before. Oh , well, at least Theodore wasn't still wandering the house playing Emo music on that violin of his.
Then she saw Richie and Lewis laughing at another table as they were also " studying". They were not officially dating but one was never away from the other long and everyone at school knew that Richie would go to the wall for Lewis. Lewis hadn't even officially came out as gay, bi or pan but people already knew the truth. Well , everyone but Uncle Richard and Uncle Nigel , she laughed inside her head. They had no clue about how often the foster" brothers" stole kisses whenever they could.
And , then her eyes narrowed as she landed them on Sol who was studying with..... Willow Malden.
Willow. The bane of her life. The spoiled dramatic beautiful bane of her life who had been reeling in Sol Klein more and more ever since the terrible protest at the courthouse. It didn't help that Willow was supposed to be so into environmental issues like Sol.
She gritted her teeth and took a step forward and promptly ran into a tall solid body that was in her damn way !
" Hey ! ," she loudly whispered as she stumbled back a step. " Watch where you are going! "
The tall solid body with the handsome tanned face and the bright sparkling white teeth suddenly laughed as he reached out to steady her. " You bumped into me, Big L. "
She glanced over at him and practically groaned. Great. Kyle Samson ! This school year and seventh grade was going to be just wonderful, she grumbled in her head.
" Actually," she heard from behind her, " you bumped into her, loser. Apologize to her. "
She and Kyle both whirled around to see one of the Terrible Trio grinning mischievously at them.
