Theodore was in his room supposedly arranging his backpack for school but instead was pacing around the room he shared with Sol and trying to reach Alan on the phone.
Alan refused to answer his calls or return his texts. He wouldn't talk to him. Damn it. How could he fix all this if Alan wouldn't talk to him? What was he going to do? Damn Kyle. Because of him and one kiss he was losing the best person in his life. The sweetest. The most beautiful. The most caring. Alan loved everything. He fed all type of stray animals he saw outside; dogs , cats , squirrels. Even an opossum in the park had been given peanuts. Sometimes Theodore thought Alan would make a great vet one day. He fed homeless people too and was starting to help out at not only the UUC soup kitchen but the one on Sunday at Uncle Nigel's restaurant. Alan thought he was not special but he was. He was so very special to Theodore and he didn't want to lose him. For any reason.
" Please call me," Theodore pleaded on the one million voice mail message he had left before hanging up and sinking down on his neatly made bed with his head in his hands.
Sol came back into the room from the bathroom in the hallway. He looked at Theodore and sighed. " Ok. I'm going to talk to him. Cause you are driving me nuts with your depression. "
Theodore looked at him. " I'm not depressed."
Devastated. Heartbroken. Miserable. But not depressed. It felt like he had lost part of himself without Alan. He had not just lost his boyfriend. He lost his friend. His best friend.
" He won't talk to you. He won't even talk to me. I screwed up, Sol. It's all Kyle's fault. I'd beat his ass if I thought I could do it. "
Sol made a face as he sat down next to him , shaking his head so fiercely his carrot red curly hair flapped about his slimming down face. " Don't do it. I heard that idiot has a gun now. I also heard he's still selling drugs at the school. Guess Doc D's anti drug program ain't working too good, huh ? Look , Theo , man , you want him back show him. Don't tell him. "
Theodore bit his lip hard. " How do I do that? He won't come near me. I even emailed him and he ignored that too. Dmed on FireBook. Nothing. He hates me now. Surprised he didn't delete and block me on FireBook too. "
Sol slapped him on the back so hard that Theodore yelped slightly. " He don't hate you. He's standing his ground sounds like. Look. Alan is basically saying he can't be disrespected. By you or anyone. I gotta give him props for that. If I saw Luci kissing someone I'd be pissed too especially if we were dating. Which will never happen. "
Theodore glanced over at him. " Why won't it? You like her and she likes you. You guys are pretty much end game so why keep fighting it ? Although I thought me and Allie were end game too. "
Sol shook his head. " Me and Luci ain't the subject right now. We're figuring out how to get you and Alan back together so you can stop moping around like you lost your favorite socks or something. "
