The air thickens, heavy with tension, as Abhyudit's unwavering gaze pins Shivam beneath its weight. The cold, calculating glint in their depths sends shivers down the spines of the onlookers.

Scanning the surroundings, Abhyudit motions others to resume their work. Then, he approaches Shirina and Shivam, halting a few steps away.

"S..sir, I..I was..." Shivam attempts to answer, but nothing meaningful comes out of his mouth.

"Why are stuttering, Mr. Atri? Talk to me the same way you were talking to Shirina few minutes back. Or you want me to pick up from where you left?" Abhyudit's tone was tone icy, hearing which Shivam's face pales.

"I apologize for that, sir," he utters, hanging his head low.

Shirina stands still on her place, silently observing the exchange.

"Your interest in others life is unwarranted and unappreciated in Sisodia Industries. If that's what you are capable of doing, you better find another job for yourself," Abhyudit spits, seething in rage, and demands, "Apologize to her, now."

"I'm sorry, Shirina," Shivam says, straightening himself, and Shirina just nods. Her eyes meet his face, and she could clearly read the humiliation and anger etched on his face.

"Let this be the last time I see you on around her and her desk, or the next time, you won't see yourself in this office again." Abhyudit's conviction was menacing, laced with an underlying unmistakable threat.

"If that's clear to you, leave," he continues, and Shivam immediately exits in haste, uttering a "yes".

Abhyudit's gaze linger on his retreating back with an unreadable expression on his face. Without shifting his attention to Shirina, he turns around, walking towards his cabin, saying, "follow me."

Shirina follows him to his cabin, her heart racing with anticipation. Upon entering, her sight falls on him, standing beside the table.

"Sir, I don't..." she trails off, searching for right words to explain herself, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Are you alright?" Abhyudit's unexpected question catches her off guard, and she stares at him, reading the concerned look on his face.

"Yes, sir. Thank you," she mutters, genuinely relieved.

The uneasiness left within her after interacting with Shivam seems to get erased, surprising her as well. But she wonders if Abhyudit won't scold her for the incidence that happened out.
