The next morning, Jivika enters the hall and finds Tarini already busy looking after the preparations of the evening event.

"Good morning, di," she wishes with a cheerful tone.

Tarini's attention shifts to her, and smiles warmly. "Good morning. Come and sit for the breakfast. I have asked the staff to make your favorite parathas."

Jivika's eyes light up, however, she has to make a call to her mother. She informs the same to Tarini, who walks away after instructing her to come soon.

Jivika pulls out her phone from her pocket, dailing the number. Aayansh, descending the stairs, catches the sight of her standing in the hall, her brows furrrowed in concentration as she waits for someone to pick up.

His gaze lingers on her for a brief moment, his expression unreadable. Then, his eyes scan the surrounding area, and his sight falls upon something on the floor. He bends down to pick the object, a sly smile appearing on his face.

Clearing his throat, he gains her attention. She pulls the phone away from her ear, and stares at him, waiting for him to speak.

"Are you searching something?" he asks, his tone neutral.

Her expression turns wary. She responds, "No, why?"

"Actually I found this on the stairs, and I thought it might be yours. You must be searching for it," he replies, forwarding his hand, revealing a screw resting in his palm.

Jivika's eyes widens in outrage, and she glares at him, her infuriation evident. She's about to retort, but something in his poker face makes her hesitate. Instead, she walks away, leaving Aayansh to chuckle to himself.

He pockets the screw, and makes his way towards the dining table, a mischievous glint lingering in his eyes. He finds Tarini alone there, as the others were yet to arrive.

"Good morning, bhabhi," he chimes, reaching up to her, and wrapps his arms around her in a side hug.

Tarini glances at him, slightly taken aback by his morning enthusiasm, and she turns his hug.

She remarks, "What's so good for you about this morning? You are even up early today."

Aayansh shrugs, releasing her from the hug. His gaze travels to the breakfast spread before them, and his face contorts into distaste.

"I guess this won't last long. I don't want to eat parathas early in the morning." He makes a terrific face, causing Tarini to playfully roll her eyes.

"Acha, batao phir kya khana hai tumhe?" she asks, ruffling her hair.

(Tell me, what do you want to eat then?)

At the same time, Jivika steps into the dining area, having finished her phone call. She overhears Tarini's question, and couldn't resist intervening.

"Haan-haan batao kya khana hai? Ghaas khaoge? Lekar aau?" she asks Aayansh, while pouring herself a glass of water.
