It started snowing as the movie finished. It was just about noon and Y/n felt like going outside. She loved the snow.

She slipped out from under the dog, who stayed with her the entire movie. "I'm going outside." Y/n whispered to her dad as she passed by him.

She put on her boots and threw on a winter coat, putting her gloves on as she left out the front door. She walked out into the garden, the snowflakes landing on her outstretched hand.

Y/n smiled to herself, picking up a fistful of snow and pressing it into a sphere. A few moments later, Nathaniel rushed out of the house, "Snow fight!" He yelled excitedly as he bent down to take some snow into his hands.

Y/n didn't react until she was hit in the back with a snowball. "Oh it's on." Y/n chuckled as her brother ran, giggling.

She threw the snowball in her hand at him, purposely trying not to hit him. Over the next few minutes, everyone else piled out of the house, all dressed up in warm clothes.

Laura sat on the porch smiling as she watched her family going nuts in the snow. Y/n was pelted with snowballs from every direction as her siblings ganged up on her.

Her dad was busy dodging Kates throws to help out his daughter. Y/n grabbed Nathaniel as he ran by close enough where she could reach him quite easily.

She held him up to shield herself from the attacks, which quickly stopped as they didn't want to hit their younger brother too much.

Y/n placed him down on the ground with a laugh but held him by his shoulders. She was in a stare down with Cooper and Lila before she got hit from behind.

She turned to look and saw her dad grinning at her. "Y'all just hate me huh?" Y/n chuckled playfully. She was holding back, but she would no more.

She let go of her brother and quickly ducked, a snowball flying over her head. She grabbed snow as she darted to the side, softly pressing it into a ball before launching it at her dad, who was too slow to dodge it.

After she got payback on everyone, getting hit a few more times, her siblings started turning on each other too. It was every man for themselves.

Y/n stepped back slightly, watching as her dad played with his kids. She got lost in thought for a moment, but her reflexes seemed to kick in as she caught a snowball heading straight for her chest.

The look on Kates face when she caught the snowball was hilarious. Surprisingly it didn't shatter, so Y/n threw it back at the culprit with a smile. "Too slow." Y/n teased as she grabbed another fistful of snow.

Kate did the same, keeping her eyes on Y/n, who laughed uncontrollably when a snowball hit Kate in the side of the head.

She gasped slightly, dramatising the scene as she turned to Cooper with a look of betrayal on her face. "You said you're on my side." Kate said dramatically as Cooper laughed at her.

Y/n realised that she had a major disadvantage coming out here first. Everyone else was able to make alliances, albeit not very strong ones.

It made sense why everyone targeted her when they first came out. It was their plan all along.

Y/n watched with an amused smile on her face as Kate played with her brother, chasing him through the snow.

Y/n grabbed snow and joined her mother on the porch. She compressed it into a ball, "Choose your target." Y/n smirked as she placed the ball in Laura's hand.

Y/n sat on the chair, her leg crossed over her other knee in a triangle shape as she leaned back.

Laura scanned the crowd and chose Kate as her target, mostly because she was the closest to the porch. "Don't miss." Y/n teased, causing Laura to roll her eyes playfully.
