You were invited to a red carpet event for a movie premier and you were excited, to say the least. You liked getting dressed up once in a while and showing your face to the public.Usually you were more of an indoors person and didn't post on social media, so your fans really didn't get to see you much outside of such events.
Of course they always could watch anything that you played a role in. You have been in quite a few big movies playing the lead role, but that wasn't really you.
Surprisingly, keeping a low profile didn't affect your popularity at all really. Most celebrities would think that you need a big social media presence to succeed, but it seems like you were an exception in this case.
It probably helped that your fans thought you were really attractive. Pretty privilege really is something.
Instead of forgetting about you with no presence, they wonder when they will get to see you again as you didn't attend many events either.
The reactions were always a bit extreme in your opinion when some pictures of you were released from red carpets and other events. But you were not complaining, you liked the attention.
You finished getting ready for the red carpet, opting for a suit as per usual. You never did like wearing dresses.
This was your first appearance in at least 4 months, so it was a little nerve-wrecking to be in the spotlight again.
Your driver pulled up outside the venue and got out of the car to open the door for you. You never did like that much. You were capable of opening your own door, but you smiled at him anyway, saying a soft 'thank you.'
You walked the red carpet, getting your picture taken and answering a few interview questions.
After all that was done, you started talking to some of the other celebs that you recognised. Most of which you have worked with at one point or another.
There were a lot of actors here, which wasn't surprising considering it's a movie premier. It was the new Mean Girls musical remake, which you were quite excited to see.
You didn't really know who's in the cast or anything, so that will be a surprise too. You spotted Auli'i Cravalho, who you worked on set with two years ago.
You also had a short fling but mutually decided to end it as you weren't very romantically compatible and stayed friends instead.
You approached her to say hi as you hadn't seen her since a few weeks after you wrapped up the shoot, only communicating with a text here and there. She turned around as you called her name. Her face lit up with excitement as she greeted you with a hug.
You smiled and conversed with her for a while. That was how you found out that she was in the very movie that you all gathered here for. You weren't surprised considering her singing abilities.
"It was nice to see you, Auli'i. I can't wait to watch the movie and see the cast." You tell her with a bright smile.
"Great to see you too. And you won't be disappointed with the cast." She says with a little smirk.
"Oh really?" You say teasingly. "Consider me intrigued." You laughed just before someone bumped into you slightly.
"Sorry, baby." You said apologetically before you even turned around to see who it was. As you made eye contact, you found a beautiful blonde looking back at you.
"No, I'm sorry. I bumped into you." She said. Her face reddened slightly, probably embarrassed about bumping into someone.
"Ah, it's no problem at all. Happens to the best of us." You reassured. "I'm Y-" you start before she jumps in. "Y/n. I know. I'm a fan of your work." She said a little embarrassed at her own excitement to meet you.
