You got up from the couch as you heard the front door open and shut. You paused the movie you were watching and went to greet your girlfriend at the door.

"You're back." You smiled softly as you saw your girlfriend. She was home a little earlier than you had expected her to be.

"Oh yeah, we finished up early." Angelina said as she slipped off her shoes. You grinned as you stepped forward, stealing a little kiss as she turned to face you.

"That's great. We can spend more time together." You say happily as you help her take off her coat.

"Finally. I've been too busy lately." Angelina smiled as she started walking towards her bedroom.

You have been dating for almost 5 months and you have been spending a lot of time here recently but you haven't actually officially moved in.

You had a day off today and Angelina told you to stay since you slept over last night, so you could spend some time together when she returns.

"Were you... watching my movie?" Angelina asked with a raised eyebrow as she turned to look at you. She had to go past the living room to go to her bedroom and realised just from the scene you had paused on.

"Guilty." You joked, throwing your hands up in surrender. Angelina laughed at your playfulness as she kept walking. "I'll just take a shower and then I'm all yours." She said as she walked into her room.

Your face reddened slightly, butterflies swarming your stomach at her words. You knew what she meant but your mind wandered elsewhere. You were glad she wasn't there to see how flustered you got.

You pushed away the thoughts that clouded your mind. You figured you should make some food while she showered as dinner time was close enough and you couldn't be certain that she ate lunch.

You prepped to make a chicken stir-fry. It shouldn't take much longer than 30 minutes to make. You didn't want to waste more time cooking than you needed to so you chose something quick and healthy.

Angelina came into the kitchen 20 minutes later and you smiled as she wrapped her arms around you. "That smells so good." She said, peeking over your shoulder to look at the food.

You chuckled as you turned around, her face now bare of makeup. "It's almost done." You said as you scanned her up and down with a small smirk.

"You're such a flirt." She teased, pushing you back playfully as you tried to kiss her. She rolled her eyes playfully as you pouted, pulling you in to kiss your lips gently.

You smiled at the action, "It's in my nature." You chuckled as you turned to the pan to stir the food. "I can't help it." You added with a grin.

"Yeah, yeah." Angelina feigned disbelief. "It's true." You giggled as she started putting dishes from prep into the dishwasher that you hadn't gotten a chance to do while watching the food.

"Thanks," you said as she finished with the dishes. "Anything else I could help with?" She asked as she came back to your side.

"I could think of a few things," you said, a hint of flirtation in your tone. "Oh yeah? Like what?" Angelina played along, stepping in closer, your lips almost touching as she looked into your eyes.

"Like getting us some plates." You chuckled, making her grin in amusement. "Plates? That's all you could think of." She chuckled as she went for the cupboard with your dishes.

"I suppose you could bring some cutlery too if you're feeling fancy." You joked as you turned off the stove top, giving the food one more good mix.

"You're something else, you know that?" She teased. You chuckled as you started plating the food, "you too." You said as you looked up to meet her eyes briefly.
