Final Scene|Hailee Steinfeld

Requested.

You arrived at the set you were currently filming at. It was a very early morning, but you didn't really mind it.

You were currently almost finished filming season 3 of Dickinson and it was going really well. The filming should be completed in 2 weeks time.

You smiled as soon as you saw Hailee talking to the director at the back of the room. It was the highlight of your day, getting to see her.

You've had a little crush on Hailee ever since you joined the show 2 years ago in season 2.
You had quite a lot of scenes together in the show, so you spent a lot of time around her.

You went for hair and makeup when you arrived. You never really liked that part. It was uncomfortable sitting still for so much time while other people did your makeup and hair.

When that was done, you went to the main set as the first scene filmed today would be one you are in.

Hailee smiled as she saw you, approaching you with a smile. "Hey Y/n, didn't see you come in this morning." Hailee said with a smile.

You gave her a small smile, "you were with the director when I came in, didn't want to bother you." You told her as you continued walking together. 

"You could never bother me." Hailee said teasingly as she looked at you, seeing your side profile. "Not sure the director would agree with that." You chuckled.

"It was actually about the scene we are filming together today." Hailee said, keeping her eyes on you while you looked ahead.

"Oh yeah? Anything important?" You asked as you finally turned to her, your cheeks flushing slightly as your eyes met.

"I'll run you through it." Hailee said, looping her arm through yours and pulling you to a few seats at the edge of the set.

"Yeah, thanks." You smiled as you sat down. She talked you through the minor changes to the scene as you listened intently.

"Scene up in 5." The director yelled out, letting everyone know to get ready for the scene.

"I guess I will see you for our scene." You smiled, getting up from the chair. "Yeah." Hailee whispered as she watched you walk away.

The first scene you had to film, Hailee wasn't in, but the second one she would be. It always made you nervous to do scenes with her, or even when you knew she was watching you from behind the scenes.

Your mind kept going back to the fact that this was nearly over. Filming would finish up within 2 weeks and it was kind of your last chance to make a move.

You really wanted to ask her out, but you couldn't risk the rejection. It would be awkward and uncomfortable for the rest of the filming if she didn't feel the same about you.

You decided that you would do it at the end, when all your scenes are filmed. In that case, even if she rejected you, it wouldn't affect your work and you could just move on.

A little while later, you got a break for lunch. You took the time to run over your lines one more time before shooting the last few scenes for the day.

You felt a presence in front of you and looked up. "Ella. What's up?" You asked as you looked at her. She gave you a little smile as she sat down beside you.

"Running over your lines?" She asked with a grin. "Yeah, why?" You asked, confused by her question.

"Look up." She told you, "What?" You asked confused as you were looking right at her as she sat beside you.
