Emily sighed as she stepped into her apartment. The team had a particularly gruesome case, which they managed to solve in just under a week.

She had the weekend off, which was great. She really needed some time to recuperate and get that case out of her head.

She showered and went straight to bed as it was already late and she was exhausted. It took a while for her to fall asleep, but when she did, she slept all the way through until almost noon.

She decided to have the day to relax and recharge, not going out or doing much other than a few chores.

She was on the couch, watching a show when the doorbell rang. Emily grumbled in annoyance as she went over to see who it was. She wasn't expecting anyone, especially not at 8 pm.

"Y/n," she said softly, her annoyance disappearing in the blink of an eye. "Hi baby." You said with a smile. Emily loved your smile. It instantly made her smile too.

"I got you flowers." You hummed as you showed her the bouquet. "Thank you, baby. You're so sweet." Emily grinned, taking your hand as she led you inside her apartment.

"I thought you wouldn't be back until next week." Emily said, happy to see her girlfriend here sooner. She could use the company after the week she had.

"Wrapped things up early so I could get home to you." You grinned, placing a soft kiss on her lips.

Emily melted into the kiss, even when it only lasted a few seconds, whining softly as you pulled away.

You smirked, seeing how needy she was. Which wasn't really a surprise. You were away for almost a month, you suspected she'd be sexualy frustrated and horny.

You connected your lips again, this time deepening the kiss as you wrapped your hand around her throat and squeezed gently.

You carried her to her room, knowing the layout of her apartment well enough not to need to see where you're going.

"I missed you too baby." Emily grumbled, her hips bucking against your body as she pushed your head further into the crook of her neck.

You covered her exposed skin in kisses, revelling in her scent. You missed it. You missed her.

"Remember our safe word, babygirl?" You asked between kisses. "Yes," Emily hissed as you bit down on her skin before soothing over it with your tongue.

"Good." You whispered as you pulled her up into a seating position and pulled off her shirt. Your eyes locked with hers, a smirk playing on your lips as you saw the lust and desire in her eyes.

You crashed your lips together, your tongue exploring her mouth as your hands roamed down her body. She lifted her hips with a grunt as you tugged at the waistband of her sweatpants.

You pushed the sweats down her thighs before pulling away from the kiss to pull them the rest of the way off.
