Y/n left the building with a smile on her face. It would be such a shame not to witness what is about to happen, so she goes to the next building over.
She climbs to the top easily and gets onto the rooftop, walking to the edge of the roof, spotting Kara on the other building.
It was a good watch point as this building was a couple feet taller and not too far away from the other one.
Y/n sat on the edge of the building with her legs dangling over the edge. Seems that all she really missed while she got here was Kara pulling out her phone and presumably calling someone.
She figured that's the case as she could see Karas phone next to her with the contacts open on the floor as she clutched the wound, keeping the dagger in place knowing she would bleed out quicker if she removed it.
Y/n smirked, hoping that Kara called Lena. She wanted to see how she would react. Lena wasn't exactly on speaking terms with Kara, but she would help her in a heartbeat if she knew that her friend was in trouble.
Around 10 minutes later Lena arrived on the roof. "Oh my god, Kara," she says worriedly as she drops to her knees next to Kara, checking over her wound.
Kara was in so much pain and had lost so much blood that she was on the verge of passing out.
"Lena," Kara whispers weakly as she reaches for her. "What happened?" Lena asks worriedly as she looks into Karas eyes as she holds up her head.
"Do you think you could walk if I helped you up?" Lena follows up. "Twas Y/n," Kara gasps as her eyes become heavy and start to close.
Y/n watches them with a grin before Lena pulls out her phone to call for backup. Lena notices her watching on the next building just as she's about to call.
Y/n shakes her head at Lena slowly as she looks deep into her eyes. She can see Lena hesitate for a moment. Lena knew that what she did now would impact her relationship with Y/n.
If she saved Kara, Y/n would never forgive her for what she did. She knew her enough to know that this was a test to see who her true loyalties lie with.
Lena loved her. She really did, but she couldn't let Kara die for a chance to save their relationship, so she pressed the call button, avoiding eye contact with Y/n.
A sigh escapes Y/ns lips as Lena calls someone. She could only assume it was Alex. She couldn't say she was exactly surprised. It wasn't the first time Lena chose Kara over her after all.
"Hang on, okay? Alex is coming with a team. We'll fix you up in no time." Lena pleads as tears begin to well in her eyes as she watches Karas unconscious body.
Alex arrives with a team just five minutes later, Y/n was too far away to hear what was going on but she knew that Lena must have told them that she was there as half of the agents tended to Kara while the others pointed their weapons at her.
Y/n stood up, bringing her arms up in surrender, except she wasn't going to let them win. Lena watched the interaction between Y/n and the agents.
She felt a pit in her stomach as she saw how close to the edge Y/n was standing as all those weapons pointed at her.
Y/n smirked before she let herself fall forward, her body picking up speed as she fell down the tall building. "Nooo" Lena cried out as she rushed for the edge of the building to see her falling. Alex pulled her back from the edge so she couldn't watch Y/n as she plummeted to her death.
Or so they thought, Y/n wasn't exactly sure if she could survive such a fall, but she was confident that she would. Her powers made her strong. She had not gotten physically hurt since she got her powers on a day to day basis.
She was confident that she could just land without ever getting hurt. Everyone was confused when the building shook slightly a few seconds after Y/n fell.
Y/n positioned herself and landed crouched on her feet, with her fist also colliding with the pavement, causing a crack to appear in the ground.
She hit the ground with such force that it was equivalent to a small earthquake for the few buildings around her.
Y/n stood up and dusted off her clothes as she walked away from the scene like nothing happened.
"What. The. Fuck!" Alex mutters as she feels the force of your landing. She looks over the edge and sees the decently sized crack in the pavement.
Lena couldn't help but feel relieved. You were hurting her friends, but that doesn't mean that she wanted you to die. Especially because she and Kara kind of deserve anything you throw at them for what they did to you.
"This is all my fault," Lena mumbles as she slumps to the floor. "Hey, it's okay. Kara will be fine." Alex comforts her.
"I'm not just talking about Kara-" Lena whispers, "it's my fault she's like that, I should have never agreed with Kara to do what we did to her," Lena confesses.
"What do you mean?" Alex asks, confused. "You know the whole thing at the battle last week," Lena says, causing Alex to raise an eyebrow.
"Oh," Lena says timidly as she thought Alex knew everything. "Explain," Alex says a little angrier than she had wished. "Kara told me that you knew everything and that you agreed with her too," Lena says.
"Knew about what? What did you do?" Alex questions and Lena tells her everything. Alex was under the impression that Y/n had collapsed because she overexerted herself and that there was nothing wrong.
And then Lena calls her saying Kara was attacked and that you did it. Alex knew your past and assumed that something must have happened between you and Kara and that you took things way too far, but now when she actually has the context, she doesn't even know what to think.
"Y'all are assholes, you know that?" Alex says after she processes the information. "Y/n was always so kind to everyone. She always treated each of us like family. I just don't understand how you two came to that conclusion." Alex rants.
"You think I don't feel bad enough already?" Lena yells as she gets up. "You know what, you should feel bad. This was your doing after all. Why would you do this and not tell anyone beforehand" Alex voices her opinion.
"You've put all of us in danger, because if that was her jumping off a ten fucking story building what the fuck do you think is going to stop her if she comes for one of us again. She flipped her life upside down for you and that's how you repaid her." Alex lectures.
"I messed up, I know. But there's nothing I can do about it now." Lena says as she sighs. "Let's get out of here," Alex says as they all leave the rooftop, some of the agents carrying Kara.
"Y/n thinks that Kara is in love with me," Lena says randomly as they drive to the DEO. Alex gives her a questioning look at the sudden statement.
"What if it's true, maybe Kara was jealous of her, and that's why she turned me against her, and now they are going to keep doing this until one or both of them are dead" Lena softens her voice as she says the last word.
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," Alex says flatly. She still couldn't believe that Kara and Lena would do such a thing.
Y/n on the other hand, was at home by now, packing up her stuff as she got ready to leave the city. She didn't want to stay in a place that would remind her of the people that she called family for the last while.
She packed up the most essential items and drove off into the sunrise in search of a new life where she could live peacefully.
