⚠️Authors Note: Hey guys, I'm sorry that it's been a while since I've updated. I went through a break up and I haven't been myself recently, writing has just felt like a chore rather than something I enjoy doing, so I took a break to collect myself and treat myself before starting this up again. To make up for being gone for so long, I decided to give you a long story, as I felt it's only fair. I hope you enjoy it and I'm sorry for being away for so long⚠️
~CONTEXT~
You have been in a love triangle with Austin Butler and Callum Turner for months now. It started when you met the two of them on set for Bikeriders, and from that moment on it was all down hill. Nothing from that point forward would work in your favour, and all three of you would be in a state of frustration at this position you had found yourselves in, none of you particularly fond of it and all of you wanting it to end. The situation was simple: Austin loved you, You loved Callum and Callum loved someone else, and that's how it has been since the beginning. Austin has been madly in love with you from the moment he laid eyes on you, even just having you in the same room is enough to make his day so much better, your simple presence paints a smile across his face so big he'd be mistaken for a giddy child. All he ever wanted was you; you to be in his arms, to kiss him, to hold his hand, to tell him you loved him and wanted him to, but unfortunately he couldn't have what he wanted. Your heart wasn't his to claim, your heart belonged to Callum. You hadn't always loved Callum, when you first met him it was simply platonic and you saw him as an acquaintance and nothing more, however the more you got to know him the more you found yourself falling for him. He was such a charming man, everything about him was gorgeous, not only his face but his personality too. He was everything you had ever wanted in a man, besides the fact that he didn't want you back. Despite all the dreams you've had of dating him and marrying him and him confessing his love for you, his eyes were on another woman. A woman he had been friends with for a few years now, a woman who had friend zoned him several times, always turning him down any time he asked her on a date and never sparing him a second glance even if his eyes were burning a hole into the back of her head. It was a tragic situation that all three of you wanted out of, unbeknownst to you, your wishes were about to come true.
~CURRENT~
After a long, gruelling and shit day, you found yourself in a bar downtown, ordering glass after glass of Vodka Coke and shots of Whiskey, downing each one and relishing in the burning sensation as the alcohol trickles down your throat, easing you from the pain of the torturous day you've been cursed with. After about the fifth drink, you decided to call it a night as the drunken men sat next to you were being overly loud and a headache had started to form, meaning it was time to turn in for the night. You drag yourself up from the barstool and outside to your car, getting in it and driving home. The drive felt unbelievably long, dragging on for more than it should and feeling as if it was taking an eternity. After what felt like a millennium, you finally pull into your drive-way and get out of your car, stumbling inside.
Once inside, you plop yourself onto the couch and just sit there, blankly staring at the wall. The longer you sit there, the more time the alcohol you've consumed has time to ware off, slowly but surely allowing you to sober up and come back into contact with your thoughts. As you sit there, silence filling the house around you, you are suddenly hit with an overwhelming feeling of loneliness, a certain type of loneliness that could only be satisfied by one thing and one thing only. You ponder on the thought for a moment, before taking your phone out of your pocket and scrolling through your contacts, selecting Callum's name. Your brain stops you from making the call, your heart having a change of plans and deciding it doesn't want him to be the one to fix the issue. Before you even realise it, your fingers have begun scrolling again, stopping on another mans name...Austin. You waste no time in calling him, placing the phone to your ear and you wait for him to pick up.
Of course, the phone doesn't ring for long before you hear his voice, he's always the one person to answer you immediately, his heart skipping a beat and jumping for joy as he sees your name appear on the screen.
Austin: "Hello?"
His voice is soft, questioning, confused as to why you're calling him this late at night, wondering if you meant to or if you accidentally butt-dialed him.
Y/N: "Hey...can I ask a favour of you?"
Austin: "Of course, love, what do you need?"
He sounded far too prepared, but then again, he was head over heels for you. That man would move planets for you if you asked, everyone knew that. You take a moment to have a breather before asking your next question, scared of how he'll react and scared of even asking in the first place. But you know you need to, you know it needs to be done, deep down in your soul there is an aching desire causing you to turn to him in this dire situation.
Y/N: "Can you come over?.."
The words roll off your tongue so smoothly, almost as if this wasn't the first time you had asked him. He sensed the tone in your voice, knowing what you were implying with this question, and he'd be a fool to pass this up.
Austin: "Give me 5 minutes, and I'll be there"
Y/N: "Thank you..."
With that, you hung up the phone and placed it on the coffee table in front of you, leaning back against the couch as you sit there waiting, anxiously waiting for his arrival.
Time seems to tick slowly, purposely dragging on as you anticipate his car pulling up. It's like the universe is testing you, teasing you to see how long you can wait for before you snap. You sit there in a pool of your own thoughts, thinking of all sorts of things and different thoughts forming in your brain before you're eventually pulled away from them...a knock on your door.
You jump up from the couch, speed walking to the door and bursting it open, being greeted by the sight of Austin stood in front of you. In this moment, it's as if your heart finally decides what it wants. It doesn't want Callum anymore; seeing how quick Austin got here, how he was instantly up for helping you, how he didn't hesitate to come over immediately, the look on his face, and how gorgeous he looks standing there...you want him. You stand to the side, allowing him to let himself in before closing the front door behind him. He steps into the house, looking around and admiring all the decorations before his eyes land on you, the woman he had craved and longed for for the last few months. Your eyes lock with his, a sudden tension filling the room, it's obvious to the both of you what's going through both of your minds.
He steps closer to you, one step at a time, slowly but surely invading your personal space until your back is against the door, his body pinned right against yours. He looks down at you, eyes burning with passion, hunger, desire, lust and love, all the emotions he had fostered for you ever since you first met. His left hand moves up to hold your cheek while his right hand places itself on your hip, his grip deathly tight, holding you as if you'll disappear the second he lets go. A silence hangs over the both of you, the only sound audible being the heavy breathing leaving your body at his closeness, a new found desire for him rising within you. After a moment, he speaks up, his voice a deep, hoarse whisper.
Austin: "Tell me you don't want him...tell me you want me, and I'm all yours"
As if on instinct, without even thinking about your own response, your mouth answers his demand.
Y/N: "I'm done wanting him...I want you, and only you"
He doesn't need to hear any more, he's finally heard what he's been wishing for ever since his eyes were first blessed with your beauty. His lips crash onto yours with a passion you have never experienced before, his grip on your hip tightening further, leaving marks against your skin. As if from muscle memory, your arms wrap themselves around his neck, holding yourself against him as you let out a quiet, soft whimper into the kiss.
After months of a torturous love triangle, it had finally been solved by two souls suddenly having a reciprocated desire for one another-
You have finally broken the cycle...
