Pottery...🫖

~CONTEXT~

6 months. That's how long you and Austin have been a couple for. You first met at a small coffee shop in your home town - he was staying at a hotel nearby during filming and decided to pop and get a coffee while on a break, and that's when he ran into you. He saw you sitting in the corner; headphones on, sipping a hot chocolate while engrossed in a book, and it was love at first sight. He was head over heels before he even approached you,  and that only worsened when he spoke to you. Your voice, your laugh, your eyes, your humour, all of it captivated him and he was desperate to make you his. So after 2 months of courting, he officially asked you to be his girlfriend and you agreed. That leads you to right now.

~CURRENT~

Roughly 3 months into your relationship with Austin, you had found out that he loved pottery. It was a hobby that he very rarely got to do, with al the travelling he did for work and barely settling in the same place for more than a couple months. However, lately he'd been staying with you a lot more and he's had the sudden urge to get back into it. He purchased a pottery wheel, plenty of clay and all the other essentials required for this skill, and you helped him set everything up in the spare empty room you have in your apartment. Over the last couple of weeks, he's been spending a lot of time in there - making several things, having fun and getting back into a hobby he's loved for years. He once made you a cute little mug with both your names on it, and as you drink whatever you put in the mug it reveals two cats in the centre - a tuxedo cat for him and a ragdoll cat for you. It was one of the sweetest things you've ever been given, and you use the mug practically everyday. On top of that, he made a new set of plates that you both use whenever you eat, and they're so much prettier than the plates you used to use. He has a real talent for pottery making and you smile every time you see the pure pride on his face whenever he shows you the new thing he's created. 

One day last week, he asked you if you'd like to do it together, but because you've never done it before you were unsure. He reassured you that he could help you and teach you everything you need to know, and it could be a cute date night for the two of you. After that, you agreed and therefor date night was settled. 

Tonight is the night.

Earlier today, Austin went to the shop and purchased a bottle of red wine for the both of you to share and some candles to light to make the atmosphere romantic. He spent the entire day setting the room up for the date while you were at work, wanting to surprise you. He was over the moon, and couldn't wait to share his beloved hobby with the love of his life. 

Finally, just as he finishes setting up, he hears the front door open and close again - indicating your return from work. He walks out of the room, spotting you taking your shoes off by the door, walking up to you with the biggest smile on his face. Once stood upright, you instantly notice him, a smile gracing your own lips as he stands in front of you. Your arms wrap around your neck and his around your waist as he lifts you off the floor, your legs wrapping around him as he spins you around, nuzzling into the crook of your neck. 

Austin: "Hey princess, how was work?"

Y/N: "The usual, nothing interesting happened. How was your day?"

Austin: "It was good, though I have missed you"

Y/N: "I've missed you too"

Walking into the living room - you still wrapped around him - Austin takes a seat on the couch, you naturally straddling him as he takes his seat. He pulls his face away from your neck, hands caressing your sides as he looks into your eyes, nothing but adoration dawning his face.
