~CONTEXT~
Your entire life, you have always had an incredibly close bond with your brother - Austin Butler. Despite him being 9 years older than you, the bond you two shared growing up was unbreakable, and your parents were more than grateful that Austin was able to get along with you in spite of how many years there are between you. He's always been protective over you, you're his baby sister(doesn't matter how old you are, he'll always call you that), and throughout your life he's always sort of acted like your own personal bodyguard. If you were being bullied in school, he would without a doubt put a stop to it. If other kids were leaving you out, when he got involved it swiftly stopped. If teachers were ever too harsh to you, your parents didn't even need to do anything as Austin would handle it. If bots tried their luck with you, Austin would scare them off in a heartbeat.

There is not one thing he wouldn't do for you, he would quite literally move stars for you, and you're forever thankful that you have been blessed with such an amazing older brother. Even as the two of you got older, and Austin got into his acting career, the bond between you never faltered. No matter how long he spent filming, no matter which country he went to for interviews and premiers, no matter how long he was away for, your relationship always remained strong and you kept in contact at all times. He would always text you, call you at any opportunity, talk to you through your parents if you were ever too busy to be on your phone, you both even went as far as writing letters to one another if it came to it. Nothing could stop you from being close and there is no way in hell either of you would let anyone separate you.

When your mother passed away, the both of you were absolutely devastated, and the loss bought the two of you even closer. Yes your father is still around, but due to Austin being away a lot for his career and you living in your own place, he can't always be there for you; so at times you really only have each other. And as beautiful as this is, not everyone is happy about this, and not everyone likes it.

~CURRENT~
Due to it being thanksgiving, Austin had flown home from doing press tours and whatnot in other countries and was coming to spend the holidays with you and your father. Every year, your father hosts thanksgiving dinner for his the three of you, and it's always been one of your favourite times of the year. However this year, Austin's girlfriend Kai is joining you.

You don't know much about Kai, as you've never met her in person, but from what Austin tells you about her she seems nice enough. He always goes on about what they do together, how happy he is with her and how great their relationship is, so you assume she's a lovely girl and in truth you're looking forward to meeting her.

Obviously you arrived at your fathers home first as you live in the same town, and he greeted you with a warm embrace as he welcomed you in, the both of you sitting in the living room and chatting about everything. He asks you about your job, your life, your friends and asks if you're in a relationship yet. All the usual questions family asks when they see you again. You enjoy the conversation, as it's been a while since you properly spoke to your father in person. Even just being back in the family home makes you happy, spending quality time with your father makes it even better.

Roughly an hour passes, and a knock on the door alerts the two of you to Austin and Kai's arrival. The door open, and Austin walks in first, a giant smile on his face as he sees you. Happy to see your brother, you stand from your chair and run over to him, wrapping him in a tight embrace as he hugs you back, laughing at your excitement.

Austin: "I missed you too"

He chuckles, his hold on you tightening slightly. Due to him being away you haven't seen each other in a few months, so getting to have your brother back means the world. Though you'd think you wrapped your legs around him, kissed him and confessed your love to him either the way Kai is looking at you. A look of disgust instantly forms on her face, looking you up and down in distaste.
