.(Skipping the Morgan episode just because that was when Carl and Michonne really got close and I don't want Julia interrupting it. She will be getting to know Morgan later on though don't worry 😅😂)
Julia muffles a grunt as she rolls around in the trunk of the car that contains Rick, Hershel, and Daryl. She was lying on her side in a fetal position to not hurt her back more. But now her legs and back were growing stiff as she stayed in an uncomfortable position.Rick had specifically told her she was not to attend the meeting with the governor.... Julia didn't like being told what to do and decided it best she make an executive decision to come anyway.
Once the car had been stopped for a while Julia stayed silent and in place until she heard car doors open and close and waited another minute before popping the trunk silently.
Looking around for walkers or any snipers Julia slowly climbs out of the trunk completely unaware of Hershel who still sits in the driver seat. He adjusts his leg and then grabs his gun, having been looking down he didn't notice the trunk opening in the mirror or shutting.
It wasn't until he saw Julia trying to creep past him that he even noticed her presence. She still hadn't noticed his but she felt watched and didn't know why until she turned around and came face to face with Hershel.
He lifts an expectant brow for an explanation as she just stares at him with a non guilty smile on her face.
"I uh- I was just going to say hi?" Julia says slowly referring to the governor which makes Hershel sigh with defeat.
"He ain't gonna be happy you came here." Hershel huffs still holding his gun but once again looking around the area with some weariness. Julia nods slowly knowing Rick was probably going to be mad at her but she was here to protect him.
If anything he should be grateful.
And she told Hershel as much making the old man snort knowing that was very unlikely. "You can wait with me then." He says making Julia look at him before her eyes look at his lower half knowing he probably would need her help if something broke out.
So with a huff Julia opens the back seat door on the drivers side and sits on the seat looking around with Hershel for any signs of anyone.
But things are quiet..,. A little too quiet.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Julia mutters to the old man who sighs he didn't want to voice his own worries but he too felt some unease about the whole situation.
But he really hoped the two leaders could settle on peace.
After awhile Daryl could be seen heading their way and Julia braced herself for the scolding she was expecting and she was not disappointed as Daryl caught her gaze and looked angry to see her there.
