I didn't open my eyes yet, but I felt someone gently stroking and running their hands through my hair. The touch was soft, familiar, and comforting.

"Are you awake, my love?" a voice whispered.

I smiled, recognizing the gentle tone. I knew who it was even before I opened my eyes. Slowly, I blinked them open and saw Jiu sitting beside me, her face glowing with that serene beauty I had come to love so much.

"Sleep well?" she asked, her fingers still playing with my hair.

"Mhm~," I hummed, still half-asleep. "Is it your turn, noona?"

"It is," Jiu replied with a sweet smile. "I'll go make breakfast. You should go shower and get dressed, then we can head out after breakfast."

"Okay~," I nodded, sitting up in bed. "What time is it?"

"Nine a.m., baby," she said, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

I nodded again and slowly got out of bed, feeling the warmth of her kiss linger on my skin. The morning was peaceful, and I felt a sense of calm despite the long day ahead.

As I headed to the shower, the sound of water hitting the tiles created a soothing rhythm. The warm water cascaded over me, washing away the remnants of sleep and preparing me for the day. I couldn't help but think about how blessed I was to have my noonas by my side, even if today was just an ordinary day—or so I thought.

After showering and getting dressed, I made my way to the kitchen. The smell of freshly cooked food wafted through the air, and I knew Jiu had prepared something special. I stepped into the kitchen and saw her setting the table.

"Smells amazing, noona," I said as I walked over to her, wrapping my arms around her from behind.

She chuckled softly. "I wanted to make your favorite breakfast, baby."

I smiled against her shoulder, feeling the warmth of her body against mine. "Thank you, noona."

"Anything for you," she replied, turning her head to give me a quick kiss on the lips. "Now, sit down and eat. We have a busy day ahead."

I obeyed and sat down at the table, feeling her love in every bite of the meal she had prepared. But as we ate, I noticed something odd. Jiu seemed to be avoiding eye contact, and there was a strange tension in the air. I brushed it off, thinking it was just my imagination.

After breakfast, we got ready to head out. Jiu suggested we take a walk around the neighborhood, which was something we hadn't done in a while. The day was bright and sunny, and the crisp morning air felt refreshing as we walked hand in hand. But even as we strolled through the familiar streets, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

"Noona, are you okay?" I finally asked, glancing at her as we walked.

She looked at me with a small smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. "Of course, baby. Just thinking about some things."

"What kind of things?" I pressed, concerned.

"Nothing important," she replied quickly, squeezing my hand. "Let's just enjoy our walk, okay?"

I nodded, but the uneasy feeling in my chest only grew stronger. We continued walking in silence, and I couldn't help but wonder if I had done something wrong. Maybe I had forgotten something important? But no matter how hard I tried to remember, nothing came to mind.

When we returned to the mansion, the day passed in a blur. My noonas were unusually quiet, each one of them giving me soft smiles and quick hugs, but not lingering like they usually did. It was as if they were all in on some secret that I wasn't privy to.
