I'm going to put a little warning here as i will be describing quite bloody situations, as most battles are. I don't go into too much detail but i Just wanted to put this here in case you are sensitive to that sort of thing :)

Either way, i hope you enjoy this chapter :)

                 ------------------------------------------

As the sun rose, Cair was busier than ever.

Everyone who could bare arms grabbed their weapons and helped eachother into their armour.

Caspian and Edmund were no different.

They both armour up, with some extra layers added underneath because of the cold.

Once ready, Caspian thinks for a moment before grabbing Peter's old sword from a glass cabinet that sat beside the fireplace.

Turning back to Edmund, he holds it out towards him.

"Here, i think it would serve you better than i."

Edmund looks down at it and then back at Caspian.

"But, you'll have no sword."

Caspian then gives him a smile and grabs the one Edmund was given before. It was still laying in it's scabbard on the table.

Slightly confused, Edmund watches as Caspian grabs both then holds Peter's sword (that still lay in it's scabbard also) out towards Edmund again.

"I'll use this one, given what happened on the Dawn Treader i think you are more deserving to use Peter's again."

Edmund hesitates but grabs it, attaching the scabbard to his belt.

Giving him a smile, Caspian attaches the scabbard with his new sword inside, onto his belt.

"Right. I think we are all set. Are you ready?"

Edmund then nods.

"I am, let's go and finish this."

Giving him a nod, Caspian then begins to leave the room, Edmund following him.

--Jadis's Castle--

Y/N watched on from her window as she saw Jadis's army beginning to gather in the courtyard and moving outside of the castle walls.

She wondered if Darius was in that crowd....

--Cair Paraval--

Once reaching the Northern gate of Cair, both Edmund and Caspian were given horses.

They got on, Edmund noticing that his horse looked a lot like his old friend Philip.

Giving the horse a pat on the side of it's neck, the horse nodded, thanking him.

When they were ready, Caspian and Edmund then began to lead the army, Piper jumping on to the back of Caspian's horse.

After much convincing from Piper, Caspian let him join to fight.
He was given a little plate of armour that fit his small fox body, which he felt very proud wearing.

Giving Piper a nod, Caspian looks onwards as they all begin to ride through the snow towards the trees, onwards towards the castle.

It took a little while but they soon found themselves on the treeline that overlooked the frozen lake, her castle standing proudly on top of it.

The sight itself was intimidating but no one was swayed.

They began to descend down the hill towards the edge of the frozen lake, treading carefully as to not slip on the snow and ice.
