As the sun rose over the frozen horizon Y/N opens her eyes, her room lit with the soft colours of the morning.

Sitting up, she squints a little as she looks at the window, noticing that snow was seemingly not falling any longer.

Getting out of bed she approaches her window, putting her hands on the glass as she is slightly amazed at what she sees.

She could see patches of green grass.

The snow was melting.

Turning back, she gets changed and puts her shoes on, swiftly leaving her room to find the others who, unbeknownst to her, had already woken up and seen what she had seen.

Leaving her room, she quickly bumped into Lucy.

"Y/N! Have you seen!?"

"I have! Does this mean that Jadis's power is weakening?"

Before Lucy could respond though, Peter catches up with them.

"If it's anything like the first time we were here, then yes." He says with a smile.

Both Lucy and Y/N give him a smile in return just as the sound of Caspian's door opened and he himself comes out of his room, his face showing the same amount of hope as everyone else's.

"You've all seen it too then?" Caspian says, walking up to the group.

"We did indeed....at last things are starting to fall into our favour." Peter says with relief in his tone.

With her smile still lingering, Lucy looks at the three of them and suggests they go and have breakfast before discussing their plans for defeating Jadis, hopefully for good this time.

With a nod from both Caspian and Peter, they all begin to walk down the corridor.

All except Y/N, that is.

Her gaze had turned to the door of Edmund's room.

Noticing she wasn't following, Lucy turned around and stopped, making both Caspian and Peter stop too.

"Oh don't wait for me. I will join you after I've spoken to Edmund...i think he deserves the good news too yes?"

Looking at eachother for a moment they all nod in agreement and part ways; Peter, Caspian and Lucy disappearing down the corridor while Y/N walks over to the door of Edmund's room, giving the guard stationed at his door a nod before opening it slowly.

Stepping inside, the room was lit dimly as the only light was coming from the sunlight pushing through the long, shut curtains.

She quickly noticed Edmund lying in bed, his injured leg resting outstretched above the sheets as the rest of his body was covered as much as it could be.

Also noticing he was still asleep, she slowly made her way over to his bedside, sitting down on a chair that sat next to his bed.

She found herself staring at the floor for a few minutes, occasionally glancing up at him lying there. Y/N could see that his wound was looking much better now though being able to walk on it was still a mystery.

As she was glancing at it, she suddenly noticed the sound of mumbling, though quickly realised it was him.

"....No....you....won't....i will not die.....there...."

Hearing this Y/N felt herself get slightly tense, wondering if he was having a nightmare again.

She stood from the chair and watched for a moment longer, trying to understand what he may have been dreaming about.
