Despite Y/N's lack of experience with real fighting, (as opposed to her training with Edmund) she was doing incredibly well.

She certainly had a natural talent, reminiscent of Peter and Edmund when they first handled a blade all those years ago.

The sounds of metal against metal echoed from both sides of the room, Peter and Caspian still fighting the ice carved copy of Edmund as the real Edmund was still with Lucy, she herself forcing him to stay put as despite her cordial, he was not fully battle ready.

"Y/N is going to get killed if i don't help her Lucy....let go of me, please..."

But Lucy just shakes her head.

"No Edmund, you have to trust her more she is doing great...you need to stay here otherwise you will get yourself killed and....i-umm...just please don't.." she says, her emotions spilling out in her last few words.

Edmund looked at his sister, seeing her worry.

He hated that.

Looking down at the floor his eyes dart from side to side as he thinks, the sounds of battle still ringing in his ears.

Lucy held onto Edmund as she watched on, silently praying for Aslan's help as Y/N fought on, Jadis getting more and more furious with each missed attack.

With this furiosity she shoved Y/N to the ground with her blade, disarming her and leaving her lying on the ground as Jadis stood above her, her sword aimed high and ready to strike, fatally.

As Y/N is staring at the tip of the blade aimed for her chest, everything feels as though it's slowed down. Time itself went into slow motion for just a moment...

Right until a giant scream pierced the room and the sound of ice crumbling scattered all over.

Jadis stopped and turned her head.

Her creation, now in pieces.

Peter and Caspian had immediately turned to Jadis, ready to attack but as Jadis was distracted, Y/N took the opportunity.

She kicked both feet towards Jadis's legs as hard as she could, making her stumble and grunt angrily, Y/N getting up as swift as she could.

Now on her feet, Peter nods to her as he and Caspian run at Jadis.

"Y/N! Get yourself, Lu and Ed to safety! go!"

Y/N looks at Peter with concern.

She wouldn't dare leave, she couldn't.

Lucky for her Lucy and Edmund thought exactly the same.

Playing along for just a moment though, Y/N turns and runs to Lucy and Edmund, who were sat on the icy floor staring at the fight ahead of them.

"Are you alright Edmund?" She asks, crouching down to see his face properly.

"Yes I'm fine." He responds, pulling out of Lucy's grip and getting up.

"I've got to stop her, she will kill both of them i know it."

"Edmund-"

"No Lu...remember Beruna? Remember in The How? Peter can't do it..."

Lucy frowned. Edmund wasn't particularly wrong in his words, as harsh as it came across.

"You don't have a sword though Ed, she's got yours." Y/N adds, turning to look at Jadis wielding it as she fought both Peter and Caspian.

Edmund's eyes then locked on at the ground near where they were fighting.

"That's not a problem."

Edmund then suddenly runs forward, Lucy reaching out her hand trying to catch him but just missing him.
