As soon as she stepped within the pool, she felt herself plunge into it's newly formed depths.

Despite how scary this may seem to some though, she felt calm. Her determination drove the fears away and soon, she found herself hitting a rocky ground that now lay beneath her.

It certainly wasn't the softest of landings, but
Y/N didn't concern herself with it so much.

After letting out a few coughs and grunts due to the impact, she opened her eyes slowly, seeing her first sights of this old world.

She could see that she was surrounded by dilapidated houses and piles of rubble. Large and small pieces were scattered all around as the strange lighting of this world had quickly hit her, which made her look up towards the sky.

The sky was heavily coated with many shades of red, darker in some areas, lighter in others.

That is when she also noticed the sun.

It was a pale red colour, almost pink as it shone above in it's matching red sky.

She certainly wasn't in any world that she had ever seen before, or could ever had imagined.

While taking all of this new environment in, she gets to her feet and brushes the dust off of her clothes.

"Good grief..." She says aloud but under her breath, her suprise falling on deaf ears.

Taking another look around, she sees an archway that is still intact, only a few cracks lining it's surface.

"That's a good start..." She says aloud as she begins to walk towards it, being cautious as to not trip over the devastation that surrounded her.

Once through the arch, she found herself looking at a street.

The road of this street was made with cobblestone, with elegant swirl designs embroidered in between the more traditional design.

Y/N couldn't deny the beauty she saw in the craftsmanship.

She found though, she couldn't quite say the same about the surrounding buildings that lined this long and wide street.

They may have been elegant in their prime, but many of the buildings had long since fallen.
While some still retained their original shape, others had long since become unrecognisable.

Looking both ways, she could see that this chaos lined up and down the entire street, as far as her eye could see.

This whole kingdom, this whole world, it was long since destroyed and forgotten.

Y/N walked out into the middle of the cobblestone road, taking a moment to look up at the sky once more before taking another look at what surrounded her.

The burned trees, the homes now left as rubble.

How could Jadis do such a thing?

She then turned to her right, looking up and seeing that at the end of the street (as far as she could see) was the detailed silhouette of a Palace.

From what she could see it was grand and dominating despite the destruction that surrounded it.

"She must be there..." Y/N says, beginning to walk down the road towards the Palace that, she hoped, would finally reunite her with her mother...

A yelp echoes through the room as he rolls to his side, clutching his face.

"I hope you didn't think your last days would be blissful Edmund."

Her smile only grows as she watches him try and hold back his tears, his fear.
