Y/N's left cheek felt rather cold as she came to her senses. She felt the hard surface of the ground beneath her as she opened her eyes.

What met her vision was the blue of ice, both the floor and walls carved intricately. She could see lumps of darker colours, presumably being Caspian, Peter, Lucy and Edmund who were also lying on the cold ground beneath them.

Though her left ear was muffled due to being against the ground, her right could hear the sounds of shuffling and grunting.

Moving her head slightly, she saw Caspian, Peter and Lucy grabbing their swords as they get themselves up.

Tilting her head further, she saw Jadis standing but slightly bent over as the stab wound from Edmund's blade was still fresh and painful.

Y/N also then began getting herself up, trying to ignore the ache on her side from the initial impact.

"Where?...." Caspian says, looking around for a moment before locking eyes with Jadis, just as Peter, Lucy and Y/N already had done.

"Where's Edmund!?" Peter demands, aiming his sword in the direction of Jadis who was returning his concern with a smile.

They all then watch as she steps aside and Peter's sword lowers, all of them stood with pure concern plastered upon all their faces.

It was certainly for good reason.

Beyond where Jadis stood was Edmund. He was lying infront of a large ice wall with blood around his newly opened wound.
To their relief he was moving and still very much alive.

It was difficult to say for how long though.

Y/N went to run towards him but Jadis held out her hand.

"Ah ah....if you interfere now he will die quicker."

"Interfere?" Caspian says, a slightly confused look now on his face.

Jadis limps over towards Edmund, making both Y/N and Peter especially want to run and stop her but, they also knew her threats were never empty.

They had to watch as she stopped infront of him and pressed her hand into his wound, making him scream out and writhe a little as his blood stained her hand.

Then, to everyone's confusion, she pressed her hand against the ice wall.

...

Nothing happened for a moment, nothing besides their confusion as to what she was doing.

That changed rather quickly though.

A cold, icy hand began to protrude out from the ice, gently grabbing her hand as she guided the figure out.

"What in the world...?" Peter says under his breath as the figure emerges, the ice crackling as it emerged further and further.

Edmund himself was looking up, his eyes blurring slightly from the blood loss and shock.

He was scared, terrified. He couldn't deny the fear.

He then blinked a few times as he focused his attention on the figure.

It, or should i say he, looked awfully familiar.

"Why does that look an awful lot like Edmund?..." Lucy asks, the four of them naturally in shock.

The figure indeed took Edmund's form, though he was nothing like him. An evil emanated from him as this ice carved copy fully emerged and stood behind the real Edmund.

Jadis's smile never faded as she looked at her creation but her wound was starting to take it's toll, but only a little.

She grunted, clutching her wound as the copy of Edmund turned to face her.

Looking at her best and now most favourite ally, she spoke only few words.

"Kill them, my prince of Narnia."

The ice carved copy gave her a simple nod before looking down at Edmund.

Peter, Caspian, Lucy and Y/N then sprung into action as the copy suddenly kicks Edmund down the steps that were leading down to where the four of them stood.

Edmund grunted and his body rolled down until he hit the bottom, blood leaving a light trail behind him.

Caspian and Peter had already began running towards the copy as it had began it's decent down the steps and towards them, wielding a sword of it's own.

While they charged on the offensive, Y/N and Lucy ran over to Edmund, dragging him back as far as they could.

Edmund himself was slipping fast, his eyes were blurred and he felt so weak.

Lucy wiped away her tears as she pulled out her cordial, shaking a little as she tried to get the small lid open.

The sounds of steel against ice echoed across the room as this strange copy of Edmund was proving to be a strong enemy, Peter and Caspian themselves having to continue their attack at the best of their own abilities.

As Lucy got the cordial open and let a drop of the liquid inside fall into Edmund's mouth, Y/N saw Jadis approaching Lucy and herself with a sword in hand, Edmund's sword.

Y/N quickly grabbed her own and stood, standing infront of Lucy as Edmund began to breath more steadily and life began to surge back into him.

Jadis let out a small laugh as she held her free hand against the wound Edmund had left.

Most people likely would have collapsed by now, though Jadis was never like most people.

Y/N steadied her grip on her sword, her nerves naturally spiking from the adrenaline and her inexperience with fighting.

"Nervous are we?...you should be." Jadis says, her tone sharpening.

Y/N grips her sword with both her hands now, taking a deep breath, focusing.

Noticing this, Jadis could not help but let out a small laugh as she readied her sword arm too, her other hand lowering from the wound, ice cold blood staining her hand.

"It is a shame you, like Edmund, betrayed me....you could of had power beyond your wildest dreams...you could have been princess of Narnia and maybe even...Queen."

Jadis pauses for a moment, taking a step closer as she continues.

"Yet you threw it away. My own blood, the last of my family...."

She was moving closer now, readying herself for battle.

Y/N was doing the same.

"None of you will leave here alive, you and Edmund especially....i will take my time with the both of you..."

Y/N felt herself getting angry, ready to end this.

Jadis then turns to Lucy, Lucy herself now staring at Jadis while holding Edmund up in his now sitting position.

"You may call and cry for the lion if you like, though know he will not save you this time."

Lucy could not deny she felt scared at this moment, Jadis had never really spoken to her directly before. Noticing this, Edmund grunted angrily at Jadis and stared, making her give him a smile which made him look away.

While this was going on, Y/N chose the opportunity to strike.

Everything then happened rather quickly.

Y/N lunged forward and swung her sword at an angle, aiming for Jadis's shoulder which, because she was too busy scaring Lucy and making Edmund more angry, connected directly.

This made Jadis yell out and Look at Y/N, who had moved away to create distance again.

Blood began to drip down her front, a sharp crimson trailing along her snow white complexion and across her since torn and worn gown, staining it lightly.

"You little-"

Jadis says before raising her arm to attack.

Then, with the clash of swords, the real fight began...
