"Henceforth! I am proud today to announce our fifth Hokage! FUGAKU UCHIHA!!!" Hiruzen exclaimed with in a proud tone as he moved aside for Fugaku to step up and take the hat from the older man.
Fugaku looked at the hat with a smile for a second before putting it on and smiling even brighter. Finally, after all these years, an Uchiha had finally taken the position of Hokage, and it was all thanks to a little blonde boy that he let into his house on a whim. Truly, Life is ever seldom a coincidence.
He raised his fist into the air, making the people in the crowd cheer for their new Hokage. None of them noticed a red haired boy who glared up at the Uchiha, his blood red slitted eyes boring holes into the man who stole his father's position.
The mark on his shoulder turning bright green as it started to spread out more, as if it was sending out a signal to an unknown force.

"Lord Orochimaru, it seems that the earth seal wasn't completely sealed away after all" a man said in front of the screen, his silver hair gleaming in the light of the screen that was in front of him.
The lord of snakes came out of the shadows as his slitted eyes stared at the picture of Banri Uzumaki "so it seems, just in time, little Sasuke's mark is activating as well" Orochimaru as he looked the screen next to Banri's and it showed Sasuke's mark being activated.
"Soon, I will have two candidates for bodies, and then I shall get back at that damned monkey for crippling me like this" Orochimaru growled out, still furious as Hiruzen for injuring him so badly.
After the Invasion, Orochimaru went into immediate surgery from all of his injuries, almost dying on the operating table if it wasn't for Kabuto. With his staff, Hiruzen managed to damage his internal organs so badly that he had to find a new body soon or else he will perish.
Luckily for him, two candidates managed to appear at just the right time.

Back in Konoha, Sasuke was on the ground, writhing in pain as images of Naruto sitting next to his family and not him flooded his mind.
There he was again, gaining everything he's ever wanted, stealing what was rightfully of Sasuke's. His mind was twisting and turning, yet it was clearer than ever.
He didn't need family, he didn't need friend's, or allies. No, what he needed was power, enough power so no one would take what was his ever again.
"Oh little Sasuke, do you wish for more power?"

"W-what?" Sasuke stuttered out, as he looked at the four figures that stood on top of the trees. The Forrest he was in was already dark enough, but they used the shadows to the next level, he could barley see their figures!
"Our master, the one that granted you that power, wishes to grant you more" a skinny one said to his left, the man was currently leaning on the tree while standing on one of the branches.
