Rava gave a sigh of relief "good, now I can look Naruto in the eye without feeling guil-" before she could finish her sentence, a large explosion resounded in the direction that Naruto went.

They all turned to the direction when they noticed a large golden beam shooting up into the sky. And with the power that it was releasing along with the storm clouds that suddenly appeared, something was incredibly wrong.

"NARUTO!!!!!"

A few hours before the large beam, Naruto had finally caught up to Sasuke in the valley of the end. The place where Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha had their final battle.

Naruto landed on top of Hashirama's head while Sasuke stood on top of Madara's "SASUKE!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, making said Uchiha stop in his tracks as he turned around.

As he turned, he revealed a pulsating purple mark on his shoulder. What he also revealed was a batch of red hair and the person it was attached to.

Sasuke wasn't the only one who was deserting today.

Fugaku sighed in worry after signing another paper, he wasn't the third Hokage so he didn't have a crystal ball that could see how the retrieval team was faring.

He knew Naruto was strong, enough to defeat one Jonin level shinobi, maybe two. But he worried about the others, he hadn't kept up with their progress but he hoped that they were strong enough for this.

Fugaku wouldn't have worried about this if it was only one Jonin level Shinobi. But there were four, the Sound Four to be exact, the four individuals responsible for closing off the Kage's and Orochimaru away from everybody during the invasion.

Although these worries were eating at him, Fugaku trusted Naruto's judgement. He knew that if Naruto approves of them, then they are definitely up to par for the mission.

Just as that thought hit him, another dreadful though suddenly rushed into his brain. Sasuke wasn't the only one marked by Orochimaru.

The Namikaze boy, Minato's youngest son had also been marked by a curse. By that snake that just wouldn't leave his family alone. When he failed with Itachi, he decided the next best thing, and that was his youngest son.

As he was about to call for an anbu to search for the Namikaze boy, Kushina Uzumaki burst through his door, her face full of panic and anxiety.

"Fugaku!" Kushina exclaimed in an erratic tone, her eyes seemed to be looking for something before horror filled her eyes.

"M-my son! H-He's gone! Please! You need to find him!" She exclaimed in a pleading tone, Suki right behind her as tears were filling up her thirteen years old eyes.

The Hokage sighed, he knew this would happen "I know Kushina" he said somberly, his words cutting through the room like a Katana.

Kushina's eyes widened again "w-what?! W-what do you mean?! I just found out! How could you possibly know that!" She exclaimed in a tone that was a mix of rage and worry, wondering what the man had done to her child.

Fugaku held his hand up while shaking his head "you misunderstood Kushina, I had a hunch that your son would disappear too" Fugaku said with a stern voice while signing another paper.
