"وقت بھی گزر جائینگے، بڑی عجیب مُلاقات ہوگی
جب ہم ملیں گے وصل کی رات میں اور شمبنی برسات ہوگی"
It wasn't supposed to happen, but it did.

Sahar's eyes started to flicker. A faint beeping sound resonating in her ears. It was close, she felt the waves of it vibrating off just beside her ear. She wriggled her toes and fingers, they felt fine. Suddenly, everything crashed on hers.
Dr. Sameer
Abduction
Gun shot
Her hitting the ground
Her eyes jerked open and she sat upward with a jerk. The blinding white lights burned her eyes and she closed them before readjusting to the bright light. She eyed her hands. Her right hand was bandaged while an IV drip was wrapped on her left hand. She looked herself up and down and she felt and looked fine. Suddenly, a fear captured her heart and she held her stomach. She didn't feel any wound nor she felt any pain, but tears were already cascading down her eyes in streams. She had to know what happened to her. Pulling her feet to the ground, she tried grappling with the IV and stood up. However, her legs gave out and she fell back on the bed.

"Come on, let's get you settled."
He helped her lay and adjusted the pillow behind her back. Sitting with her on the bed, he rubbed his thumb over cheeks and she felt herself calm down.
"Ahad?" She whispered, voice all watery and weak.
"Yes?" He spoke softly, still grazing his thumb on her cheek.
"Tell me what happened?"
His motion of thumb didn't falter. His eyes never left hers. She only looked at him while bracing herself for the truth. A sigh escaped his lips and he said
