The sunlight streamed directly onto her face. The yellow sun rays creating a serene halo around her face as her hair lay spread all over the pillow, her long lashes touching her cheeks and eyes shut as she slept without a care in the world. But that was not quite the case for Ahad. He had been awoke for more than hour now and all he did was watch the sun peaking from the horizon and counted the breaths of his love. The mild wind danced with her strand and she scrunched her nose when the strands tickled her skin. He cautiously tucked the strands behind her ear. He was perched up on his elbow as he saw her body twisting and face morphing into a yawn he found way too adorable. Unable to stop the urge, he bent down and placed a chaste kisses on both of her cheeks.

"Wake up, sleepyhead."

He rasped to her watching her face broke into a grin before she snuggled more into the warmth of his chest. Her legs were already tangled with his and she hugged him like a teddy bear.

"What time is it?" She mumbled into his chest simultaneously snuggling in his neck.

"Close to nine." He said into her hair while placing another kiss in her hair. He tightened his arms around her when she moved from his chest.

"Where are you going?" He asked as she sat up.

"To get ready."

Grunting, he pulled her back into his chest and locked his arms tightly around her small waist. She hissed before pinching his side and grumbling.

"Let go of me, you macho man."

He stared at her, eyes flaring with a challenge before he locked her legs with his and pulled her atop his chest. All snarkiness left her body as their closeness registered in her mind. She wriggled trying to break free.

"Let go." He just smirked at her and mused

"Try." Her eyes shimmered with mirth. A once in a lifetime happiness carving her face as she completely relaxed in his embrace. Keeping her head directly on his heart, she laid still. Not moving or showing any signs of resistance. He frowned, but wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I'm not going anywhere. Like that, ever again."

Her small whisper was heard by him. He knew what she meant. Running a hand through her hair, he breathed into her hair

"I know."

She gave him a smile that literally melted his heart. He was whipped. Totally and completely whipped over the enigma that was his wife. His love of life.

"I'm feeling hungry." She said and he nodded his head, finally letting go her. Grinning, she asked him

"That wasn't so hard, was it."

He just rolled his eyes and fell back on the bed. He heard her footsteps moving into the room and after a while heard the bathroom door shut. Deciding he should be getting ready too, he swept his feet to the floor and went inside the closet. Grabbing a nice dark brown suit, he headed to another room to shower and change. Minutes later, he strolled back into the room, dressed to his best, only to find the room empty. The sheets were made and the balcony door was closed. He grabbed his wallet, keys and mobile before making his way downstairs. Laughter boomed as he neared the kitchen to see his mother and wife chatting animatedly with each other. Without disturbing them, he plopped on the chair. The motion still attracted their attention.

"Ohh, were you eavesdropping on us?"

He playfully rolled his eyes as his mother teased. Setting eyes on his wife, he mused

"You have her wrapped around your fingers. Ain't you fast?"

"I didn't do anything." She made a face so innocent that he melted right then and there, but still carried with his mischievous act.
