—|mad woman|—
Seven of the eight members on board the shuttles heads were thrown backward. Uncomfortable and feeling nauseated by the whole experience. The pressure of gravity and the heat of the atmosphere tingling against the ship was a horrible feeling.
Fire wrapped around the front of the shuttle, diving head first into the atmosphere. Streaks of indigo and bright orange colored the flames. Dangerous, yet one showed no fear.
Alejandro was one of those few pilots who could pull a war-skilled drop out of space. A drop that could get pat all detection. Impressive, but not extremely comfortable.
Adeline grasped the arrest of her armchair, acting as if gravity didn't exist aboard the shuttle anymore. Issac had frequent trouble keeping his eyes open from the pressure. Cauis tried desperately to trick his mind that this was like a roller coaster. Mason and Callius both swallowed thickly as they tried to keep themselves composed. Elsa felt not too much pain, but couldn't help complaint to herself about the ringing in her ears it caused.
Beeping and hollering of the tracker of height kept descending. Alejandro eyed it carefully, hand ready on the yoke to pull up. The ships rattling and pressure didn't bother him at all.
They descended like a meteor onto Caera's surface. Pushing into a sunrise horizon and two large buildings.
Not much of a planet to be honest.
"Are you going to start the engines some time? Some point, Mr. Sanchez," Callius questioned.
"Soon, we need to go just a bit more lower to be safe. 150 meters to be safe. Thank goodness there's no tall trees or mountains, we'll have a rocky surface to land on," Alejandro pointed out after answering.
"I can't believe you enjoyed this during pilot training!" Adeline muttered to herself.
"Uah," Cauis let out, starting to feel nauseous.
"Keep the vomit in please," Alejandro added, "I'm sure we don't want any of the custodians when we get back to the academy having to clean up after a mess of vomited food. You guys shouldn't worry. I did this fifty times back in the academy."
The world below them had turned into a dizzying, spinning kaleidoscope of gray. The shades of gray rocks created an ancient feel. More of a feel that there was no life supposed to be here.
'Why did I agree to this again?' Callius asked himself.
They kept passing down and faster onto the planet. So much closer to the ground. So much closer to the ground.
Alejandro finally saw the numbers come close to 150, not taking any chances of accidentally injuring anyone.
With one hand yanking the yoke into the correct position. The other hand, quickly stabbed a finger at a button, kicking back on the engines. Alejandro pressed down hard on the single gas pedal.
