"Welcome back," Viper firmly greeted Anya and Demitria as they exited the shuttle.
He watched as the unmasked individuals took slow and careful steps down the ramp. Guiding a newly awakened Hybrid, frightened and confused. His panic coursed through his veins as he fidgeted against their grip.
Demitria's short locks of ebon hair lay messily on the back of her neck. Her dark, Choclate brown eyes shined with pride and determination. She was a reasonable height, not too tall or too short. She could hold all the kindness in the world in her body, but she was seen a snore of secretive these days.
She was now a dutiful scientist for Arik's various experiments. She was always either in the lab or out in space on a mission for Arik. It didn't matter if she climbed the ranks, all that mattered were the people around her that she qualified as friends.
Anya had pale white hair, hair that had turned such a light color when she gained her powers. The malfunction left her with silvery long locks that matched the electricity that buzzed through her core. Her green eyes held nothing, but loyalty and strictness to her duty.
She'd once been an overachiever. The always straight A's student, loyal daughter, and always followed the rules. Until she had gotten tired of her overbearing parents.
Two of Arik's most valuable Recreations and followers.
"The Hybrid was easy to catch anyway," Anya shrugged it off, she'd done this job countless times, "You always must wait when they're not guarded. Something like that Arik puts into words about these missions. It was simple."
"Good to know that you didn't have any trouble with this half-human hybrid," Viper answered, he examined Kit closely, "Arik shall be pleased."
"And why would he not be??" Demitira questioned.
"Fair," Viper spoke, sort-of-casually.
The chemistry between Demitira and Viper was undeniable She was completely smitten after all these centuries. Her eyes held back the eve to run and hug the man she loved so dearly. He'd been so distant lately.
Viper changed under Arik for those past few centuries. The once young twenty-three year old had gained respect and an air of fierce command. He'd become Arik's right hand man, who never failed a mission or didn't comply to a request.
Anya was working her way up those ranks. Demitria was gone where her rank was as partly a scientist and warrior. The two women had a different idea of what they should do for Arik that would please him.
"Get dressed," Viper ordered to the two, "I'll take care of the Hybrid's cell."
Kit found himself roiling and cooling in panic as Viper gestured curtly for a soldier to take him to a cell. He could thrash around in his fear or try and tear away from the soldiers. Find away back to his family and Vestrea.
