Kit had only been alone for a few minutes. Not enough time for even the people am outside his bedroom or planted in their rooms. He could look after himself quite well. After all, he was eight years old.

That's what he thought before all hell broke loose.

It all state forth the small tremor of metal when he went to look out the balcony door. His eyes catching a glimpse of Issac starting to lead Brystal out of the gardens. It was almost bedtime. He had to know that Brystal would plan on sleeping at the same time. He thought it was best that they get the sleep they needed.

Also, since he was still a boy, he found it unfair if his younger sister got to stay up longer. Eats jealousy that he could hide.

The next movements of these tremors became known. Glass shattered somewhere, whipping his head around to see a vase of fresh flowers in the floor. Puzzle pieces now beginning to vibrate against the floor and the painting in the wall began to shake.

Panic spiel don his veins when he heard grunts and screams from outside. All do his panic dissolved into fear when he heard footsteps walking closer to the door. He was almost frozen in place at that spot.

His feet practically shuffling against the ground as he tried to hide. Danger, danger, there was danger outside....danger outside. Just when Mr. Graham left onto to change shorts with Ms. Grohl, he was left defenseless

The next few moments happened as if they were in slow motion.

The metal door same crashing down onto the carpet floor. Revealing two silver masked warriors stepping into the room. A soldier running after them to try and apprehend the warriors before they entered the Pike room.

The slightly shorter warrior grabbed out a circular shaped weapon. Zapping and crinkling up with electricity spraying out of the palm of her hands. Swinging vividly at the guards head that gave a crack at the cheek.

His helmet bent in and blood pouring out at the spot he'd been hit. The slightly taller warrior took advantage of his crumpled state. Wrapping her hands into fists, sending jolting round the room.

Metal scraped off the walls, slamming into his poor body. Kit couldn't do anything, but watch  as metal was stolen from off the walls and kitchen area. He kept his mouth covered in fear that he would make a sound.

"AUGH!!!"

The man's dying words echoed in the room as a final crunch of his bones echoed across the room. Kit almost let out a whimper as he crawled towards the bedroom as quietly as possible. His only mistake was not knowing who these warriors were.

The shorter one heard the slight whimper due to her sharp senses, "Find the hybrid."

'Hybrid, what's a hybrid?' Kit's thoughts were cutoff before he reached the bedroom door.
