Vrindha took a deep breath as her heart is racing like a drum in her chest. She glanced up at Krishna, who was watching her with an intensity that had both comforted and unnerved her. The morning light framed his face by casting a warm glow that made her feel safe yet exposed.
Vrindha : I... I just feel like our friendship means so much to me, and lately, I've been wondering if it could be more...
Her voice trembled slightly, and she could see the spark of hope flicker in Krishna's eyes. He leaned forward with his expression earnest and encouraging. He is silently urging her to continue.
Vrindha : You make me feel so safe, happy, and understood. Every moment we spend together just feels... different. I've tried to ignore it, but I can't help thinking there's something more between us.
As the words spilled out, she felt vulnerable but also relieved. Yet the final admission still lingered on her lips, hesitant to leave her mouth. Krishna's gaze remained fixed on her, his heart is pounding as he silently prayed to every god he could think of.
Krishna : Vrindha, do you love me ?
The question was blunt, cutting through the fog of uncertainty that hung between them. Vrindha's breath is caught in her throat. For a moment, everything around them faded away, and the world felt suspended in time. Her heart raced, and she could hardly believe what he had asked.
Vrindha : I... I do.
The confession came out in a whisper, and she nodded, feeling her cheeks flush with warmth. Unable to meet his eyes, she lowered her head, overwhelmed by the weight of her feelings.
A radiant smile broke across Krishna's face, lighting up his features and making his eyes sparkle. Without thinking, he swept her into an embrace, pulling her against him tightly. The unexpected warmth of his body wrapped around her felt like a soft blanket.
Krishna : You've always been so special to me, Vrindha.
His voice was low and filled with emotion, resonating in her ears as he continued by still holding her close.
Krishna : I've been so confused about what I felt for you. I thought it was just friendship, but last night... I realized it's love. I was unable to imagine someone else as your partner.
His admission hung in the air, and a wave of relief washed over Vrindha. All the fears and doubts she had carried seemed to dissolve in that moment. She felt as if a weight had been lifted, and joy surged through her veins.
They pulled back slightly, their faces are inches apart, sharing smiles that were full of promise. In that silence, they both understood what this moment meant. It is the start of a new chapter in their lives.

Just then, Krithi, who had just woken up, made her way downstairs. As she came downstairs she noticed the two of them, arms wrapped around each other, their expressions radiant. A warm smile spread across her face, and she felt her heart swell with happiness.
She quietly tiptoed away, not wanting to interrupt their moment. As she moved toward the kitchen, she felt a sense of fulfillment. This was exactly what she had hoped for her brother and her darling Vrindha finally realising the love that had always been simmering beneath the surface.
As she brewed coffee, the rich aroma filled the air, mingling with the lingering energy of the moment she had just witnessed. She could almost hear the unspoken promises and feelings exchanged between them, and it made her heart sing.
Krithi smiled to herself, glancing back toward the living room where she could still see them talking softly, their laughter bubbling like a melody. She felt like a silent guardian of their happiness, excited for all the adventures that lay ahead for them.
Meanwhile, back in the guest room, Krishna took Vrindha's hands in his and their fingers interlocking effortlessly.
Krishna : Vrindha ! Look at me. This shy types isn't suiting you much. Where's my Ms. Fierce and Fiesty ?
Vrindha looked at him and smiled.
Krishna : I never want to lose you, Vrindha. You mean everything to me.
The sincerity in his voice made her heart flutter, and she felt a rush of affection that enveloped her like a warm embrace.
Vrindha : You won't lose me. I promise.
Krishna : Hmm.
Vrindha : My mom is adamant that I should get married for grandma's sake.
Krishna : What do you think about that ?
Vrindha : I had to do that because it's my grandma's last wish. My grandma did so much for me. But what about you ?
Krishna : I am being honest Vrindha. We have to know each-other more. I mean , we know each other's likes and dislikes. But we have to know each-other more like a couple. But this is a tough situation. So, let's get married and then date eachother. What do you think ?
Vrindha : Ok !
They shared another smile, filled with unspoken vows and dreams for the future. In that moment, everything felt right, as if the universe had conspired to bring them together in the form of Vrindha's maternal grandmother.
As the sound of coffee brewing wafted through the air, both Vrindha and Krishna knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey—one where they would navigate love, friendship, and everything in between, hand in hand.
