As the celebration continued, the laughter and chatter filled the living room, but Parvathi quietly observed her daughter from across the room. After a while, she gently pulled Vrindha aside to a more secluded corner of the house, away from the bustling family.
Parvathi : Vrindha !
Parvathi began softly and her expression is warm and caring.
Parvathi : Can we talk for a moment ?
Vrindha : Of course, Mom.
Vrindha replied by sensing the sincerity in her mother's tone.
Parvathi took a deep breath and her eyes are searching Vrindha's.
Parvathi : I wanted to ask you, how is Krishna taking care of you ? Are you feeling okay ? If there's anything bothering you, you can tell me.
Vrindha smiled and answered.
Vrindha : He's taking wonderful care of me. I feel so blessed to have him by my side. He's always checking in, making sure I'm comfortable and happy.
Parvathi's eyes softened, but she sensed an underlying concern in Vrindha's expression.
Parvathi : That's good to hear.
Vrindha : I wondered why you felt the need to check on me.
Vrindha admitted by tilting her head curiously.
Vrindha : Is there something I should be worried about ?
Parvathi shook her head gently, her voice is becoming more contemplative.
Parvathi : Not worried, dear. But once you become a mother, you'll understand the protective instincts that kick in. It's a different kind of love that grows inside you, one that makes you sensitive to everything about your child.
Vrindha listened intently, feeling the weight of her words.
Vrindha : So, it's normal to feel anxious about everything ?
Parvathi : Absolutely !
Parvathi said and her expression is warm and reassuring.
Parvathi : Every mother worries. It comes with the territory. But know this, you are not alone. We're all here to support you. Trust your instincts and lean on us when you need to.
Vrindha nodded by feeling comforted by her mother's wisdom.
Vrindha : Thank you, Mom. That really helps.
Parvathi reached out and squeezed Vrindha's hand gently.
Parvathi : Just remember, you're not just my daughter. you're also going to be a mother now. And as a family, we'll face everything together.
As they stood together in that quiet moment, a deeper bond formed between them. Vrindha felt a sense of belonging, knowing that she would always have the support and love of her family as she navigated this new journey into motherhood. With a smile, she looked at her mother, feeling grateful for the connection they shared.
