Krishna felt a surge of excitement as he is sitting leisurely in his house after coming home from the court. He turned to Vrindha with a playful glint in his eye.
Krishna : You know what ? I think we should call our family and share the news !
Vrindha's eyes widened in surprise.
Vrindha : But you said you wanted to keep it a secret for a week !
Krishna : True ! But I can't hold back the joy any longer. Plus, I want to see the looks on their faces when they hear it !
With that, he grabbed his phone and dialed Vrindha's family. As the call connected, he could hear her parents, Parvathi and Shankar, and her brother Arjun, along with his sister-in-law Subhadra, on the other end.
Parvathi : Hello ?
Parvathi answered and her voice is bright and welcoming.
Krishna : Hi, Auntie ! I hope you're all doing well.
He said cheerfully.
Shankar : Krishna ! What a nice surprise ! Is everything okay ?
Shankar asked with a hint of concern in his tone.
Krishna : It's more than okay ! I have wonderful news to share, Vrindha and I are expecting a baby !
Silence fell on the line for just a moment before it erupted into joyous cheers.
Parvathi : Oh my goodness ! That's amazing !
Parvathi exclaimed and her voice is filled with emotion.
Parvathi : Congratulations ! I'm so happy for you both !
Arjun : Wow, this is incredible news !
Arjun chimed in and his excitement is palpable.
Shankar : We can't wait to meet the little one !
Subhadra added,
Subhadra : You two will make wonderful parents ! We're so thrilled for you two !
After a few moments of joyful chatter and well-wishes, Parvathi said,
Parvathi : We'll be at your place in an hour to celebrate !
Once Krishna hung up the phone, he turned to find Vrindha staring at him, a mix of surprise and amusement on her face.
Vrindha : Why did you call them after saying you wanted to keep it a secret for a week ?
she asked by crossing her arms playfully.
He chuckled by shrugging slightly.
Krishna : I guess the excitement just got the better of me. Plus, it's such good news. how could I not share it with the people who love us ?
