A gentle breeze began to stir, carrying with it the scent of rain. Krishna glanced down at Vrindha with  a teasing smile spreading across his face.

Krishna : So, what are we supposed to do now ?

 he asked playfully.

Krishna : Just stand here and admire the view, or is there something more... exciting on the agenda ?

Vrindha rolled her eyes eventhough a smile tugged at her lips. She pinched his arm lightly.

Vrindha : For heaven's sake, Krishna, I'm your wife now, not just your best friend's sister ! Don't annoy me now.

Her tone was a mix of mock annoyance and affection.

Krishna : Ah, but how did you become an IAS officer with such a goofy brain ?

he shot back with  laughter dancing in his voice and he is clearly enjoying their playful banter.

She narrowed her eyes at him, her smile brightening.

Vrindha : Just because I'm married to you doesn't mean you can underestimate my intelligence !

Krishna chuckled by  stepping closer and their faces nearly touching.

Krishna :I'm not underestimating you ! I'm just amazed at how you managed to achieve so much with all that silliness ! You are my gorgeous girl with extremely smart brain. I just joked.

As her cheeks flushed a delightful shade of pink at his teasing, the first drops of rain began to patter softly against the balcony railing. Feeling bold, she wrapped her arms around him by pulling him closer and resting her head against his chest.

Vrindha : You're impossible !

she said and her voice muffled against him.

Krishna : I just want to sleep peacefully tonight.

Krishna said softly, his tone sincere.

Krishna : I want to hug you and forget all the chaos of the past few days.

Vrindha tilted her head up to meet his gaze and her heart is swelling at his honesty.

Vrindha : I want that too.

she whispered and she is feeling the safe in his embrace.

Vrindha : After everything that's happened, it'll be nice to just focus on us.

Krishna : Then let's make it happen.

he replied and his voice is low and reassuring. He tightened his hold around her shoulders as the rain began to fall more steadily, creating a soothing rhythm around them.

Krishna : We'll forget about the chaos ,  at least for tonight.

As the darkness settled in and the rain drummed gently against the balcony, Vrindha felt an overwhelming sense of contentment wash over her. In this moment, with Krishna by her side, the chaos of the wedding, the family tensions, and the uncertainties of their futures faded away, leaving only the warmth of their connection.
