Vrindha took a moment to compose herself. Just then, her colleagues began to trickle in with concern etched on their faces. She internally wondered why no one came inside when he is intimidating her.

Colleague 1 : Vrindha ma'am , are you okay ?

She asked by stepping forward.

Colleague 2 : Did he really just come in here and yell at you ?

Another chimed in, eyes wide with disbelief.

Vrindha : I'm fine

She  replied by forcing a reassuring smile.

Vrindha : Really. Just a misunderstanding. Let's get back to work, everyone.

But the looks on their faces told her they weren't entirely convinced. They exchanged glances, clearly worried about her well-being.

Colleague 3 : You know we're here for you if you need to talk.

A colleague said gently.

Vrindha : Thanks, but I appreciate it. I just need to focus on the projects right now.

She insisted and her voice is steady despite the emotional turmoil inside her.

One by one, her colleagues nodded even thostill hesitant but respected her wishes. As they began to file out, she could hear their quiet murmurs, a mix of support and concern, but she remained determined to keep her composure.

Once they were gone, she took a deep breath, grateful for their care but resolute in her decision to face her challenges head-on. She returned to her work, the weight of the encounter with the minister still heavy on her mind, but her spirit unyielding. She had a job to do, and she would not let anyone derail her commitment to it.

..............

In a dimly lit corridor of farm house , the Finance Minister is pacing  back and forth, flanked by a group of other ministers. His anger still simmered as he plotted to undermine Vrindha's position.

Finance minister : You don't understand.

He argued with one of his colleagues.

Finance minister : That woman thinks she can just waltz in here and challenge my authority. We need to transfer her before she causes more trouble.

Just then, another minister joined the group, a distinguished man known for his integrity. He was Vrindha's father-in-law's friend. He is a respected figure in the political landscape.

Development minister : What's all this about a transfer ?

He asked by raising an eyebrow.

The Finance Minister sneered.

Finance minister : We're discussing a certain IAS  who's become quite the problem.

The elder minister stood firm.
