As Krishna and Vrindha entered the building, they walked towards the elevator. Their hearts are still racing with excitement. The ride to the fourth floor felt is exhilarating and each ding of the elevator is signalling their approach to a new chapter. When the doors slid open, they stepped into a quiet hallway adorned with warm lighting and soft carpeting.
Krishna : Here we are !
Krishna said by leading her to the door of their flat—402. He fished out the key and unlocked it. He pushed the door open with a flourish.
Vrindha and Krishna stepped into the house together by placing their right leg first. As soon as Vrindha stepped inside, her breath is caught in her throat. The apartment was bathed in soft, natural light filtering through large windows, revealing a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The living area was spacious, with neutral-toned walls and tasteful flooring that hinted at both comfort and style. She turned to Krishna and her eyes are wide with surprise.
Krishna : I had the cleaners come in yesterday.
he explained by stepping in behind her and closing the door.
Krishna : I wanted everything to be perfect for our first day together.
Vrindha : This house is so beautiful.
Vrindha exclaimed and her voice is filled with genuine delight.
Krishna smiled with pride in his accomplishment evident.
Krishna : I want to make it convenient for my evening office work. I thought it'd be nice to move it here.
He guided her through the flat by pointing out various features.
Krishna : This is the front office.
He said by leading her into a small room that connected to a separate lobby.
Krishna : It's perfect for meetings with clients and it won't disturb the main living area.
Vrindha nodded.
Vrindha : It's perfect.
She said by envisioning how they would both make memories in this house.
Krishna then took her to the spacious living room, where a large TV cabinet was set against the wall.
Krishna : And this is the living room.
he said by gesturing her towards the plush furnishings and the soft rug that covered the floor.
Krishna : It's where we can unwind after long days. I bought these furniture few days ago. And it turned out to be a good idea.
From the living room, he led her into the dining room. It is looking bald and inviting them to organise and add furniture and utilities.
Krishna : We can host family dinners here.
He said with a smile tugging at his lips.
