Almost a week passed and life is going easy and happy for everyone. Arjun insisted that they should wait for few days before telling their parents about the matter as they are up with wedding plans. Both vrindha and krishna agreed with him. Everyday after work they used to meet eachother and spend some quality time.
Today they are joined by Subhadra and Arjun.As laughter filled the air, Subhadra's eyes sparkled with mischief.
Subhadra : I have to call Athamma ( mother-in-law ) ! She needs to hear this news.
With that, she pulled out her phone and dialed, her excitement is palpable. The rest of them exchanged curious glances as Subhadra put the call on speaker.
Parvathi's voice came through, cheerful and bright.
Parvathi : Hello !
Subhadra : Hello Athamma ! I have some exciting news to share !
Vrindha felt her stomach flutter at the thought of her mother finding out about her and Krishna. She glanced nervously at Krishna, who offered a reassuring smile, and then at Arjun, who seemed equally curious.
Parvathi : Oh ? What is it ?
Subhadra looked at Vrindha, her expression encouraging.
Subhadra : You tell her !
Subhadra nudged vrindha and gave mobile to her. Vrindha's heart raced as she took the phone, her palms slightly sweaty.
Vrindha : Hi Amma....It's me.
Parvathi : Hi, sweetheart !
Vrindha took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves.
Vrindha : I... um, I have something important to tell you.
There was a brief pause on the line, a sense of anticipation hanging in the air.
Parvathi : Go on, dear.
Vrindha : I'm in love with Krishna.
The words hung in the air, and she felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
Parvathi : Oh, my dear ! That's wonderful news !
Vrindha blinked as she is surprised by the warmth in her mother's voice.
Vrindha : I'm really sorry for hiding my feelings from you amma. I just... didn't know how to tell you. Infact i told krishna just few days ago.
Parvathi : It's okay, sweetie. Love can be complicated, and I understand that you wanted to figure things out first.
Vrindha felt a wave of relief wash over her.
Vrindha : Thank you. We actually talked about our feelings just a few days ago.
Parvathi : I'm so glad you both found the courage to share your hearts. Love is a beautiful thing, and I can't wait to see where it takes you two.
Vrindha's heart swelled at her mother's words, a mixture of joy and gratitude flooding through her.
