The morning sun streamed through the window by filling their apartment with warmth. Krishna sipped his coffee by glancing at Vrindha, who was busy preparing for her first day back at work after her delhi trip. Sumedh was still asleep peacefully . Parvathi is making arrangements for the breakfast. The familiarity of their morning routine provided a comforting backdrop, but Krishna couldn't shake off a sense of anticipation. Today would be a pivotal day.

As he arrived at the courthouse, the atmosphere was charged with energy. Colleagues bustled about, each engrossed in their own world of legalities. Krishna settled into his office by reviewing case files when a sharp knock interrupted his focus. He opened the door to find a woman with intense eyes, holding a notepad.
Maya : Hello Mr. Krishna, I'm Maya, a journalist.
she introduced herself and her voice is steady but laced with urgency.
Maya : I need to talk to you about something serious.
Krishna : Hello Ma'am ! Come in.
Krishna said by motioning for her to sit.
Krishna : What's this about ?
Maya took a deep breath and her expression is grim.
Maya : It's about the finance minister. I believe he's involved in illegal activities , specifically land mafia operations and ore smuggling. My husband was investigating this before he was killed in a suspicious car accident. Even he was an investigative journalist.
Krishna felt a chill run down his spine. The name of the finance minister echoed in his mind, along with the dark memories of Vrindha's encounter with him. His blood boiled unknowingly.
Krishna : What exactly did your husband uncover ?
Maya pulled out a few documents from her bag, spreading them across the table.
Maya : My husband had linked the minister to several land deals involving dubious companies. He was also looking into connections between the minister and organized crime. Just before his death, he hinted at something big , something that could expose the whole network.
As Krishna scanned the papers and his heart raced.
Krishna : And you think the minister was involved in your husband's death ?
Maya : I know he was. My husband was close to revealing the truth. He'd received threats before.
Maya replied and her voice is cracking.
Maya : But I won't let his death go in vain. I want justice.
The weight of her words hung heavily in the air. Krishna's mind raced back to the moment he learned of Vrindha's harassment by the finance minister, A man who wielded power with impunity, protected by layers of corruption.
