Mynx rolled off her bed as she heard a knock on her door,
"What is it?"
Fuegoleon walked in with a serious expression,
"Mynx, the Diamond Kingdom is making their move, we must leave right now,"
Mynx immediately grabbed her bag and nodded,
"I'm ready,"
Fuegoleon face palmed and smirked at her,
"You want to fight the Diamond Kingdom in your pajamas?"
Mynx looked down and immediately blushed and glared at Fuegoleon,
"Cosmic Magic: Cancer's Crunch!"
Fuegoleon immediately yelled out as crab legs appeared and closed around him,
"Come on!"
Mynx smirked as she pushed her hand out and he was shoved out the door and it shut as the legs faded and he glared at the door,
"You do know I outrank you!"
"So?"
Fuegoleon sighed,
"Girls."
Mynx opened her door and Fuegoleon smiled at her crimson lion cloak and nodded,
"Let's go,"
Mynx smirked,
"Race you to the fight!"
Fuegoleon sighed as she immediately took off,
"YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE THE FIGHT IS!"
He immediately took off after her as their squad glanced at Mynx but then quickly followed when they saw their captain running too. If both of them are ever running, that means there is a fight and Mynx wants to beat Fuegoleon to the fight, something they have been doing ever since they became Magic Knights. Mynx briefly paused outside and glanced over her shoulder,
"So...where to?"
"Kiten,"
Mynx nodded and opened her grimoire,
"Cosmic Magic: Pegasus Awaken!"
Mynx's magic manifested into a blue glowing pegasus and Fuegoleon sighed,
"Should you be wasting-"
"Shush, don't you want a ride?"
Fuegoleon sighed and turned to their squad,
"The Diamond Kingdom is attacking Kiten, we must defeat them and save the citizens. Randall, I want you to focus on getting them out of town, take three men with you,"
Randall nodded and saluted,
"Yes sir,"
Mynx smirked,
"Let's show those idiots who they are messing with!"
They cheered and immediately took off. It did not take them long before they saw fires up ahead from explosions. Mynx frowned as she started hearing screams,
"Randall! Now! Get them out of here!"
Randall quickly took three people with him as they took off into town. Mynx smirked and winked at Fuegoleon,
"Well, Flame boy, may the strongest get the most defeats,"
Fuegoleon smirked,
"Challenge accepted, Moon girl,"
The two, in sync, jumped off the Pegasus as it disappeared and Mynx was able to tackle a Diamond Mage,
"Cosmic Magic: Cancer's Crunch!"
