All he could hear was laughter as he left his home. Fernleon looked over and was surprised to see his oldest child talking to a younger girl. He instantly put together that she is the one that his daughter has not stopped talking about for the past three months. Fernleon smiled and walked over to the two,

"Hello there, you must be Mynx, my daughter has told me a lot about you,"

Mynx immediately stood taller and smiled brightly at him,

"Hello sir! Thank you for having me here! It's very pretty. Do you need help with anything?"

Fernleon smiled softly and put a finger to his chin,

"Hmmmm,"

Mereoleona winced,

"Fatherrrr-"

"Now now, Mereoleona, I am simply coming up with a small task for you two to complete together,"

Fernleon glanced over his shoulder and smiled,

"Ah, I know. I want you two to go find Fuegoleon. He must be in his room still. Bring him outside will you? He needs some fresh air,"

Mereoleona smirked and grabbed Mynx's hand before starting to run,

"Come on Dust! I know a short cut!"

"I-In the castle?!"

"Yeah!"

Fernleon chuckled as he watched them running into his home. Sister Theresa chuckled as she walked over to him,

"I have never seen a girl like that one,"

"What do you mean, sister Theresa?"

Theresa smiled,

"She has a different magic. I am not quite sure what it is yet, but she is powerful,"

Fernleon smiled and nodded,

"As expected of Mereoleona to find someone like that,"

Theresa nodded,

"Watch over that child too, it might do your family some good to have a new face around. She seems too thin,"

Fernleon glanced over at her,

"What do you mean?"

"Well, from what I have heard from Mereoleona, she is from the forsaken land, a small town called Hage. No matter who her parents are, it is difficult providing for a young child in poverty."

Fernleon nodded,

"I understand,"

They heard an explosion from inside and Fernleon winced,

"Oh boy,"

Inside, Fuegoleon was staring at Mynx as she stared back. Mereoleona tilted her head and frowned,

"Hey, why did you make that explosion Fuegoleon?"

Fuegoleon blushed and pointed a finger at the two girls,

"I didn't! It was you!"

Mereoleona shook her head,

"No it was not!"

Mynx shrugged,

"Sorry about the mess, I can cl-"

Fuegoleon shook his head,

"Nonsense. Let's go outside,"

Mereoleona gaped at the two as he dragged Mynx away,
