Xander walked inside the Crimson Lion's headquarters to be met with a sight he wished to leave immediately,

"Xander!"

He turned to leave but was immediately caught by the flaming claw of Mereoleona,

"Heyyyy...Mereo,"

Mereoleona narrowed her eyes at him,

"Are you injured?"

Xander shrugged,

"Eh, just an injured ankle. Everything else is all good,"

Leopold ran over to him and grabbed his arm,

"Xan!"

Xander smiled at him and patted his head,

"Hey, so, what's going on?"

Mereoleona glared at him,

"These cubs have been slacking. Where have you been?"

"I went on a mission with the Black Bulls, got us a star. Then I spent a few days with Owen. I think he's tired of me, he said he doesn't want to see me for at least a few weeks. Are you here as temporary Cap?"

Mereoleona nodded,

"Yes. which means I am in charge of training now!"

Xander immediately paled and looked at the fear in his squadmates' eyes,

"Ah, I see I have made an error in my ways,"

Leopold laughed nervously,

"Have you been to the hot springs?"

Xander's eyes widened, and he immediately tried running,

"NO! I JUST GOT CLEARED I'M STILL A LIL INJURED!"

He was caught once again in her claw,

"Good thing I didn't ask!"

"But-"

"No excuses! You are all weak! My brother has been too soft on you. It's time for you to get some real training! Let's get going!"

Xander shook his head,

"But Mereoleona, I-"

Mereoleona growled at him,

"What?"

Xander scratched the back of his neck,

"Can we start with sparring first? So-"

Mereoleona growled,

"Fine. We will start easy. All of you team up with someone. Xander, I need to discuss something with you."

Xander nodded, and the two stayed inside while the others went outside to start training. Xander glanced at Mereoleona,

"I'm guessing this is about Mynx?"

Mereoleona nodded,

"Yes. Are you certain it was her?"

Xander sighed,

"Yes! I am! I'm getting tired of no one believing me! The only ones that do are Yami, William, and Leo...please tell me you believe me!"

Mereoleona put her hand on his shoulder,

"I do. You said that she was in pain when Fuegoleon was injured?"

Xander nodded,

"Yeah, she did, and I know it's crazy-"

"It's not. Mynx and Fuegoleon have always had a strong connection since they met. They always said that they were twins born to different mothers. Xander, did you really hear her say that she was with the Diamond Kingdom?"
