Reunion

As soon as Marx, Mynx, and Balto stepped outside, they were met with an interesting site.

Mereoleona had her flaming claws around Yami's head shaking him up and down while William was watching passively, speaking as if trying to make it look like he was trying to help his friend, but also trying to fight back his laughter. Fuegoleon was very obviously angry, how was it obvious? He was quite literally on fire. Randall was trying to calm him down. Mimosa was holding back Noelle who's face was bright red with anger as Asta was dodging water balls that Noelle threw at him. Leopold and Xander were being held back by the scruff of their capes by Nozel, who was lecturing both of them on not doing anything stupid like Yami and William. Surrounding Magic Knights were just silently watching the feuds. Mynx and Marx shared an exasperated look. Mynx raised a hand to whistle sharply, the sound piercing through the commotion. It immediately drew everyone's attention, freezing the chaos in its tracks.

"MYNX!"

The next thing she knew, she was under a dog pile of her old squadmates and friends. Mynx wheezed and looked at Marz and Balto, both of which looked very amused,

"H-Help,"

Balto and Marx exchanged amused glances as Balto snorted.

"You are on your own,"

Nozel crossed his arms and looked at the pile of knights with a raised brow before glancing at Owen, who stood off to the side with a tired expression.

"Owen, how many more ribs do you think she just broke?"

Owen sighed as he pinched his nose,

"I do not want to know,"

He stepped forward, clapping his hands.

"Okay! Everyone get off of her so I can heal her!"

Mereoleona yanked everyone off with surprising efficiency, standing Mynx up with a firm pat on the back that nearly knocked the wind out of her again.

"Welcome back to the land of the living,"

Mynx smiled weakly, hugging him tightly.

"Glad to be back... even if it's just for a moment."

Owen's expression softened, though a frown tugged at his lips.

"Well, I am only one message away,"

Mynx ruffled his hair affectionately, her smile turning sad,

"Why do you have to leave again?"

Mynx sighed and ruffled his hair,

"Hey, you can always come visit, and I'll stay in touch. I need to find a new bird for that though,"

Xander appeared beside her with a grin.

"Actually, we think we know where Nero is,"

Mynx's eyes brightened,

"Nero? Really?"

Yami crossed his arms,

"She brought us your stupid letters."

William chuckled, winking at Mynx.

"Yami is just mad he was wrong about her,"

Mynx laughed and nudged Yami,

"Don't be so salty,"

Yami rolled his eyes,

"Yeah, keep making Ocean jokes,"

Fuegoleon placed a firm arm around her shoulder, his tone more serious than the others.

"So, will you actually go to Owen's office now?"
