Mynx gasped as the capital came into view, the once beautiful skyline now marred by chaos. Smoke rose in curling plumes, and a dark void pulsated ominously above the castle, swirling like a storm of nightmares.

"Oh no,"

Aphi winced as his gaze locked onto the abyss consuming the sky. The black hole radiated a sinister energy that sent chills down his spine.

"So... I'm guessing that's not good,"

Mynx shook her head as she guided her glowing Pegasus to the ground. The magical creature shimmered as it dissolved into stardust upon landing. She turned to Aphi, her expression resolute.

"Aphi,"

Aphi sighed, already sensing her intent. He took her hand, his grip firm but reluctant.

"Where do you want me?"

Mynx smiled softly, her fingers squeezing his in silent gratitude.

"I want you to go check on the king,"

Aphi pulled a face, his brows knitting together in protest.

"What? Come on-"

"Aphi, please,"

He exhaled heavily, running a hand through his hair.

"Fine. Only for you. And I'll even tell him that,"

Mynx chuckled and kissed his cheek,

"I know you will,"

Aphi frowned,

"Where are you going?"

Mynx glanced up at the swirling void, her expression hardening.

"I'm going into the belly of the beast,"

He pulled her into a quick hug,

"Please stay alive,"

Mynx winked, tapping his cheek playfully.

"I will, I promise to the moon,"

Aphi smiled at her,

"Good, and I promise to the moon that I will find you when this is over,"

"Good, you better."

She opened her grimoire again,

"Cosmic Magic: Pegasus Awaken!"

She hopped onto her pegasus and immediately headed toward the palace void in the sky,

"I hope I'm not late. Hang in there."

As they soared toward the castle, a familiar pull in her chest guided her. She clenched her jaw, her thoughts drifting to her twin brother.

"Fuego, don't worry, I got this covered,"

As she approached the void, the air grew heavy with dark magic. Her mana flared instinctively, and her eyes glow with an ethereal silver-blue light. The cosmic particles in her mana skin shimmered across her body, radiating power.

As she entered the void, her Pegasus faltered, its form destabilizing. Mynx yelped as she was thrown into a dark chamber, the impact knocking the wind out of her.

Groaning, she pushed herself to her feet, her eyes widening as she spotted the glowing tablet in the room's center.

"The Magic Stones,"

A dark chuckle echoed behind her, sending a shiver down her spine. She spun around as a tall figure emerged from the shadows—a blonde elf with a wicked smirk.
