Balto's desperate cries reverberated across the battlefield, his luminous form flickering as he nudged Mynx's still body with his muzzle.

"Come on, come on, don't do this to me!"

He threw his head back and let out a howl. The branches snapped away from the mages they protected as William collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. Fuegoleon was immediately at his side, throwing his arm around William's shoulders.

Fuegoleon gripped Mynx's hand tightly, his voice breaking.

"Hey, it's not funny anymore. Wake up."

Mereoleona sat down next to him,

"Wake up, dust. Stop slacking on the job. We just won."

Leopold stumbled backward, colliding with Yami, who had just arrived,

"Is she...no she...she can't,"

Yami placed a heavy hand on his shoulder, his face grim,

"No way. She isn't,"

William immediately grabbed onto Balto's shoulder,

"Balto, what happened?"

Balto looked up at the sky as he felt their gaze on him,
