As Marx and Asta make their way down the dimly lit spiral staircase, Marx glances at Asta.
"You know, you've done a lot for the Clover Kingdom, Asta. Saving those people was no small feat. You should get at least ten stars for that."
Asta beams, punching his fists together.
"Thanks, Marx! I didn't do it for the stars, but I'll take 'em!"
When they reach the dungeon, Julius Novachrono is waiting. He looks at Asta, his eyes alight with curiosity.
"Asta! I think your Anti-Magic sword may just be what we need to undo the spell on these two."
He gestures to Catherine and George, who are bound and glaring.
Julius begins to speak with excitement.
"Tell me, what do you think of their magic? The way they used it was unlike anything we've seen. Perhaps it ties into—"
"Wizard King, focus! We need to get information from these two."
"Oh, right!"
Julius chuckles, scratching the back of his head.
"Asta, would you mind?"
Asta pulls out his sword, tapping each prisoner on the head to break their spell. Catherine hisses,
"Stop it, brat!"
Asta remained unfazed, focused on getting the job done. Once the spells are dispelled, Marx activates his Memory Magic, digging into their minds.
Julius watches closely, asking questions with genuine interest,
"You two... tell me, have you ever crossed paths with a mage named Mynx? What can you tell me about her?"
Catherine spat,
"Never. We have been looking for her to eliminate her,"
Marx glared at them,
"Why?"
George chuckled,
"Our boss wants her gone."
"So you two did not see a cloaked mage? Someone who uses Shadow Magic?"
"No, we don't have any mages with Shadow Magic."
Meanwhile, in the waiting room, the captains are gathered, the air thick with tension.
Gueldre sneers,
"How did these pests get away, with four captains right here?"
Jack chuckled darkly,
"Not every enemy is as pathetic as the ones you faced, Gueldre."
Gueldre glared at him. Rill tilts his head thoughtfully,
"It's a shame the Crimson Lions don't have a new captain yet. If Fuegoleon were here, we'd probably be a bit more organized...Shouldn't the Vice Captain take charge?"
Yami glared at him,
"No. Vice Captain Randall should not be in charge. He's only the temporary Vice Captain,"
Nozel rolled his eyes,
"Give it a break,"
Rill shrugged, not understanding what was going on. Rill clears his throat and deepens his voice, attempting an imitation of Fuegoleon,
"In battle, composure and discipline are key!"
But before he can finish, Nozel's eye twitches, and Charlotte shoots Rill a withering glare,
