Fuegoleon sighed as he crossed his arms and stared at the Wizard King,

"You want me to get a new Vice Captain?"

Julius sighed and nodded,

"Fuegoleon, you need a Vice Captain. At least a temporary one until we find her. Please, for your squad and for yourself,"

Fuegoleon shook his head,

"No. That would only say that I have given up on Mynx. She will be my one and only Vice Captain."

Julius plopped down on his chair,

"Fuegoleon, you are now the only squad without a Vice Captain. I understand that you do not want anyone to think that you are replacing her...but it would do you some g-"

"No. It will not do me any good. You have known me for years now, Julius, am I known for quitting on anyone?"

He shook his head and Fuegoleon stood up,

"I will never give up on my friend. I assumed that the two of you were well acquanted. However, from this conversation, I can tell I assumed incorrectly."

Julius immediately stood up as fear crawled up his spine,

"No! No it's not that. I-"

Fuegoleon shook his head,

"Respectfully, sir, she is reported as missing, I have heard the rumors that some magic knights started that she is dead. I do not care what any of you may believe. I know my sister is alive. She would never abandon this Kingdom, she would never abandon her family. I will not abandon her by naming someone else as my Vice Captain."

Julius frowned,

"Fuegoleon. I believe that she is still out there as well. However, we need to have a front of confidence and show that everything is put together and fine. You will not be replacing Mynx, only allowing someone to shoulder more responsibility,"

Fuegoleon turned his back to Julius as he started walking out,

"I will allow for someone to be, in your words, a figure head. I now know that you did not care as much for Mynx as I originally thought. I do hope that she also learns that before considering you as her close friend. For that has happened in our past and it did not end well,"

Julius felt his heart shatter,

"For who?"

"For the both of them."

Fuegoleon left the room and Marx immediately entered and frowned at the look of despair on Julius's face,

"King Julius, what happened?"

Julius sighed,

"It seems that Fuegoleon has accepted gaining a new Vice Captain,"

Marx nodded,

"He mentioned Randall when he just left. What did he say?"

"Oh, Marx...I do not believe that I will gain favor of the Vermillions anymore,"

Marx frowned in confusion,

"Why is that?"

Julius winced,

"Fuegoleon believes that I have given up on Mynx-"

"What? Sir that's impossible! You have searched so far and wide for her-"

Julius held up a hand with a small smile,

"I know I have...yet there is still no sign of her...I have failed many people by failing her. I simply hope that when she returns that she will forgive me,"

Marx sighed and patted his shoulder,

"She will,"

Julius ran a hand through his hair,

"And you believe that William and Yami have?"

Marx sighed,

"Sir, those three were very close-"

"As were we...at least, I thought so,"

Marx sighed and shook his head,

"I believe that you and Mynx were close friends, she would keep you in line better than me-"

"Hey come on Ma-"

"Oh quiet, you know it's true,"

Julius sighed and smiled with a nod,

"You are right...I just hope we find her soon,"

Marx nodded,

"It has been months ...but I am positive we will find her soon."

Julius nodded,

"Yes, we will find her,"
