Chapter 26

"Even on the weekends huh," Chase says sitting down to watch me practice.

I hate that he's here when I'm breathing heavily and full of sweat but Drake had just left 15 minutes ago and I didn't know if Chase was going to come. Nearly every day this week he came around at six, It was one in the afternoon. I thought he'd have something to do in the weekend, unlike me.

"Yeah well it's not like I have anything else planned," I say mentally grimacing at the fact that it sounded like I was playing ditsy and wanting him to take me out like he always does.

"Hey Duck do you want to-"

"Don't you guys look adorably pathetic," Al suddenly says cutting off Chase and pissing me off in the process.

Rolling my eyes I look away from Chase who suddenly stiffened . I give Al a tight-lipped smile. Wiping the sweat off myself with a rag as I walk beside Chase.

"Better than looking pathetically alone," I respond and for some reason that must have hit her harder than I expected because she was launching herself at me.

I jumped back, my adrenaline still pumping from the practice. I took a defensive stance but I didn't need to because Chase was holding Al back. I couldn't tell whether to be curious or happy that he looked mad that he even had to touch her.

"Don't fucking touch me!" Al shouted surprising me as she starts to push at Chase but he moves back first.

"What the hell is going on here?" Drake all but snarls as he walks into the gym.

I couldn't help but groan out loud. I hate Al. Al hates me. Chase hates Al, Al hates Chase, Drake hates Chase and vice versa. This entire gym might just be filled with the four people who could kill the other and not care.

"Drake go away," Al says but she never stops death glaring at me.

I honestly didn't know that comment would piss her off as much as it did.

"You're distracting Duck so how about you go before I have to throw you and your golden girlfriend out of here," Drake says looking between Al and Chase.

"How about you try and see what happens,"Al says turning toward Drake and throwing a punch.

I can't help but admire her determination. Drake without a doubt would always win. Drake ducks and punches her in the stomach. Once his fist makes contact Chase rushes over and tackles Drake against the wall.

I was utterly confused as Chase gripped the back of Drake's neck and started kneeing him. Drake pushes against the wall and turns them. He grips Chase's shoulder and my body betrayed itself when I smiled. Drake was using the one trick I tried on him earlier this week but failed. Except Drake succeeded, in fact he did it three times as harder as a human should.Chase was slammed back groaning as he started coughing out.

"And here I thought you were getting smart," Drake says standing up and spitting out a little blood.

He was too busy looking down at Chase to notice that Al started charging to him. I have no idea how things turned out this way. I don't know how I had already launched myself at Al taking her to the ground as I held her in a submission hold. One of my knees were against her lower back, my left hand was behind her neck. Using my right hand for balance I lift my other leg and sweep myself so that her arm and head are in between the crook of my knees and she can't move.

"I'm going to kill you!" Al struggled to shout as she winced in pain.

I was taking a real satisfaction in overpowering her. Which wasn't much of a surprise since I have been training with Drake. But before, this would have been impossible. I unconsciously looked over to Chase. My grip loosened as I saw Drake on top of Chase punching away. Al used my shock to push out of my hold and send a left hook across my cheek.

She shifted so she could get a stronger punch in when Drake gripped the back of her shirt and lifted her up, flinging her across the room near where Chase was struggling to stand up. Chase meets my eyes and I can't help but feel ashamed. Technically from his view I was on Drake's side. But from my view he was on Al's.

"Duck are you o-" Drake started to say reaching for me.

"I'm not surprised by this. But that doesn't make me any less pissed off!" Victor shouts, his voice ranging around the room.

Drake stopped and mumbled "fucking shit". He turned around just as I reached up for his hand and I fell back down glaring at his back.

"Victor I'm sorry but your too late we already won," Drake says smirking as Victor walked up to him.

"How many times..." Victor says reaching up to Drake and grabbing his ear harshly.

"Ow ,ow," Drake says repeatedly and I start to crack a smile as Victor continues to lecture Drake.

"Did I tell you to stop with these petty fights?" Victor finishes and Drake starts chanting "okay okay no more."

Victor lets go off Drake and Drake glares at him. Suddenly Victor looks at me and I instantly stop smiling.

"All of you," Victor says looking around at all of us. "This counts as a strike one more and I'm throwing you all on your asses."

With that said Victor starts to leave but stops at where Al is. "You're on the council this behavior won't go... come with me," he says huffing out in annoyance as he leaves the room with Al on his tail.

Chase is leaning against the wall for support. Drake breathes heavily and sits down. I'm just awkwardly standing and cradling my cheek.

"You can go now," Drake says to Chase.

Chase scoffs but doesn't make a move.

'You know what," Drake says standing up again and moving towards Chase but I step in front of him. "Why were you even here?"

"This is an open gym Drake you don't own it," Chase says as he gets the strength to walk closer.

With Chase closer I'm trapped between two giants. Except Drake is naturally a giant and I'm just short compared to Chase. I clear my throat and try not to blush at the thought of being a monkey in the middle of two very hot guys.

How in the world did I get so lucky?

"Yes I actually do, you see when either me or something of mine," Drake says pulling the back of my shirt and lifting me up by it like some type of puppy. "Is in here then that means it's closed so I'm not gonna tell you again. Get lost."

Chase looks me in the eyes and I blushed despite not wanting too. I felt it from my neck all the way to my ears. Times like these are when I hate that my skin is so light.

"No because Duck and I were going to go out so if you don't mind," Chase says giving Drake a fake smile as he grabs my wrist and pulls me toward him.

"Not in this lifetime princess," Drake responds to Chase as he yanks me back but Chase still didn't let go of my wrist so it hurt when he did.

"Okay boys I know I'm a fine dame and everything but really why can't we just share?" I say bemusedly.

Drake rolls his eyes and lets go of me hand. Chase doesn't.

"Duck you have to practice-"

"Drake I've been working my ass off, literally, have you seen how nice it is...." I start to say but I realize I'm not alone with Drake and that the "normal" me has to go away around Chase, who was starting to blush as he lets go of my hand.

"Uh my point is I deserve a break," I say trying not to laugh at Drake's smile from my slip up from before. Only he wouldn't be embarrassed but then again we were alike.

Drake stops smiling as I puff out my lower lip and use my big doe eye technique. He sighs and then rolls his eyes again.

"Fine but tomorrow six o'clock sharp. Right here. You're mine," he says pointing his finger in my face before he shushes me away with his hand as if he was dismissing me.

"Thanks dad," I say fighting against the urge to hug him in front of Chase. He gives a small smile and I nod towards Chase for us to go.

Like I always say. Success 95.7% of the time.
