I swear it's like a breath of fresh air to finally be updating in such a long time. I know we writers tend to want to just randomly scrap our works and do it again and lately I've been struggling to not scrap what I've written because of course this is the first draft of DITB. Point is thanks for reading and it's because of wattpad that I even keep writing xD

Chapter 35

I thought lifting Junior's shirt over his head would keep his identity a secret. It was a bad move I admit it. But during the time I planned for us both to hide inside our shirts. By the look of Al's face I could tell it was a bust.

"Junior?" She said a little shocked as she looked to me who was on top of him.

I didn't care what she thought. To be honest it was funny that she was speechless as she opened and closed her mouth looking for more words. I did care about what Chase thought though. At the fact that he was watching Al's reaction. It hurt that it didn't bother him that I- through his eyes- was with another guy. I knew he didn't like me but there are so many things that make me believe he does.

"Well this is not awkward..." I said standing up and dusting my knees.

Junior's face was flushed red as he avoided looking Al in the eyes. She on the other hand had no problem glaring at him and refusing to look away. I had watched a lot of romantic movies to tell that she somehow cared no matter how little.

"Let's... just go to my room," Al said shaking her a head a little as she looked over to Chase.

He nodded his head and gave Junior and I a small glance before he walked to the door with Al. It was infuriating just standing there watching them both walk away. I wasn't stupid, I like to think of myself as an experienced person with romance... even though I haven't had a boyfriend or any real contact with boys. Junior was more of a girl and Drake wasn't a boy just an asshole.

Point was there was something there between Al and Chase that made my chest ache. Being the nosy person I am I have to find out.

"Or you can just not find out," Junior suddenly says flattening his shirt.

I sighed heavily. "It seems impossible for me to narrate inside my own head without all you nosy people listening," I replied rolling my eyes.

"Who cares about what happened what matters is what's happening," Junior says going back inside.

"It's important," I said getting the feeling Junior knew the answer. "Where are you going?" I asked as Junior climbed the stairs.

"To be nosy of course, I want to know what's Chase's game," Junior said a little worried as we snuck into the familiar hall.

I recognized the plaque of Al's room number 394G. I had thought maybe Junior was going to get a cup and press it against the door but when he went into the room beside hers I thought it was a much stealthier and less creepy way to eavesdrop. Well it was creepier but others wouldn't know.

I followed into the room. Junior was scavenging through the dressers and pulled out a flying spherical object. He opened the window and with controls on his laptop.

"So this is your room," I said surveying it. It looked far more techy than the rooms I have seen. On the wall was a big screwed in flat screen. He had a small computer inside the walk in closet and a bunch of nerdy looking posters on the wall.

"Yeah," Junior answered absentmindedly as he adjusted the headphones onto his head. "Gotcha!" He says proudly as a pixilated video of Al and Chase appeared on the laptop.

Chase was leaning against the door of Al's room as she sat on her bed her back facing the camera. I pushed myself beside Junior pushing the left side of my head to his in order to hear the audio.
