6 months later!!!
Can you believe it has been six months already? Six months of being Amrutha Gowda!! What a hell of a ride this has been! These six months have seen a lot in terms of friendships, family, connections, acquaintances, and character development,
No one could have imagined the developments I have been through. It was a metamorphosis from the shy, self-doubting girl to a woman owning her own thriving business. I could see humungous changes in myself.
A month and a half into my new life, I decided to start an interior business. The idea sprouted when I was giving my room a makeover. I pitched it to Bhargav who helped me a lot. The last step was to convince Anna that this would work, and I am sure of it. That is how "Gruha" my interior design studio/business was started.
My first client was Bhargav. He had purchased a new apartment and needed it to feel like a home. My first project was a hit and through word of mouth and my marketing skills, the business is thriving. Can you believe it? I am the owner of a profitable business.
I must say the only downfall of this new life is the distance created between my best friends and me. Neither do I meet Aditi nor am I in much contact with Fiza. Fiza's been worked up with her own life, with her husband's work. Which means I don't get to talk to my best friends a lot.
On the positive side, the girl gang has stayed strong! And so is my rapport with Pankaj uncle, Raghav, Anjali Aunty and every other person in the family. Not to forget Anna's friends.
Dhruv Nanda has been a constant in my life now. I've attended many of his races. Even though he calls me kiddo, we share a flirtatious relationship. Note it's just flirtatious we have no other sort of intentions towards each other.
Ayaan has been my saviour. Handling multiple social media accounts did take a toll on me initially, but with the help of Ayaan and his tech mastermind, I had everything solved in a jiffy. Anna was right about Ayaan being a cute face with a devil's mind.
I've met Uma Kapoor just a few times. She is the only female friend Anna has. She gave me tips and tricks to survive in this world dominated by men. She's a sweetheart. She is to marry soon. Can't wait to attend all the functions.
Now coming to, Bhargav! He is like a second brother, caring and a bit overprotective. In these six months, I've had just one boy approach me. Before he could even put the question out. He was scared to death by my dear elder brother and Bhargav. I thought after getting into this new life, I would have a chance in love and relationships, but guess I was wrong because this new life comes with two annoying elder brothers who don't let a single man near me.
That leaves, Grover! Kunal Grover! Anna's best friend. He travels a lot! The need of his business, I guess. I have no clue what he does. I haven't seen him at all, not even at the party Appa had a few months back. I mean, I have seen his pictures and from them, I must say he is hot!
