"Yes," I said and that very instant, their faces dulled a bit. They must've thought I was still contemplating my decision. Little did they know I had already decided the moment, Appa narrated the hospital story. I was sure I made the right decision to stay with my family.
"I need to know who all are there in my family. I don't want singular introductions. I don't want to have a blank face when people approach me. Before we leave here, I need the details of whom to expect and who are my family."
"You had us scared. Let me start! You know who I am. I am Bhargav Shetty. Do you want to know what I do for work? I will tell you anyway, you know the triple S gym? I run that gym chain. More details about my family, you find out soon, but I need to leave now. I'll leave you with your Anna and Appa." Bhargav said and bent down placing a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Now for our family." Appa started. "Apart from the both of us, you'll find Bharti our house help, cook everything. She is the closest of a motherly figure he has had." Appa said pointing at Prajwal. "Then there's my best friend, Pankaj and his wife Anjali. They have two sons, one who is in Canada and the other you'll meet when we go home. Not to forget Guru and Lakshmi..."
"Ahh yes! I know Lakshmi. I met her at Taj West End."
"Good now shall we go home?" Anna asked forwarding his hand for me to take which I gladly did. We paid the bill, hopped in the car and left. The butterflies in my tummy increased with each minute. How was my new home going to be? Would I be comfortable there? Oh god! Why am I so nervous?
"We are here!" Appa announced and my mouth was left agape. This was my home?

The house exterior
"Do you like it?" They asked in sync. To which I nodded positively.
"Good! Otherwise, we'd have to change it!" Appa laughed. Thank god he laughed, imagine if he actually meant that. Buying a new house just because I didn't like the old one? That's crazy, right?
*I don't think so.*
As I walked to the main entrance, I saw people waiting eagerly. The only person I could recognise was Lakshmi, the others were a mystery to me. As we neared the main entrance, they brought out a thali filled with vermilion water and a diya on it. They did an aarthi and welcomed me inside. I was overwhelmed. I hadn't expected such a welcome.
