"STOP! PLEASE...." My mom pleaded. I turned to see her crying. I've never seen her cry like this.

"Why? Why should I? She knows only half the truth, let me tell the entire thing." My father, sorry, Sagar walked over to me. It will take time for me to accept the change.

"Your Appa here didn't want you 25 years ago. He was so affected by the death of his wife. He blamed you for her death, and that is why we had a huge argument. I took you away from him to give you a better life because if you had stayed with them, they wouldn't let any chance go to remind you of the bad fate you had come with." He said with a smirk on his face.

"LIES! All lies. Trust me magale. I've been searching for you ever since I lost you. I stopped when..." Appa faltered.

"Why did you stop?" I asked him.

"We were shown a grave and told that it was you. We were told that we had lost you forever. I am sorry magale. I shouldn't have believed it. I shouldn't have stopped searching for you," I could sense the sincerity in his voice which I didn't with Sagar.

"Appa, it is okay. We were all affected by the news. If it wasn't for London, we wouldn't have even found her at all." Anna came up behind him.

"London? You know me from London and I am getting to know now?" I questioned back. How long have they known me? Did they want more proof? What is happening in my life?

"Yes, it was 2019 in London. When you were a student there. I happened to spot you near Tower Bridge. Long story short, I managed to click a picture of you, did some digging and got proof to make sure no one can question us when we tell you the truth." Anna uttered leaving me shocked.

"When did you... When did you find out I was your sister?"

"It took me around two years because of Covid, but since then I've known you to be my sister. I have been following you to ensure your safety."

"Ensure my safety?" I scoffed. "Two years from 2019 would mean 2021, give or take 2022. What were you doing all this while? I was bearing with this... this life! Couldn't you have come earlier?" My reaction left everyone in shock.

I admit it is sort of wrong on my part to leave the people who have taken care of me for all these years, but there is something about blood relations. They just pull you towards them. I cannot explain this feeling. I cannot put it in words, but when I found out, the moment I found out the truth about my very being, I decided I would stay with my family. My Appa, my Anna and everyone else, who is my family.

"So you believe us?" Appa asked, content written all over his face.

"Of course, she will! Anyone would trade their life for this luxurious one that you would provide her. She is always like this always jumping to the brighter side." Padma ajji commented sarcastically.
