Prajwal's departure created a commotion. Aravind excused himself, not before
"I will wait for your response. Whatever the situation might be tomorrow. Whoever you may be. I will wait for you."
This departing note had me thinking about him again. I know, Anna had warned me against him but I must also see the positive side. He did help Aarav and Fiza. If what Aarav said was true and he did help them get together, he must be a good guy.
*Stop oscillating so much. A pendulum doesn't oscillate as much as your thoughts!*
"Haha! Very funny!"
"Do you have any idea?" I heard the question from afar. "Hey! I'm asking you!" Bhoomika raised her voice coming closer to me. Seeing my expression she repeated herself. "Do you know why Prajwal left without saying a word?"
I shrugged my shoulders in response and nodded my head in a no. What was I to say? I was equally shocked by his exit as everyone else. I expected him to voice out his opinion not walk off.
"I'm telling you she's lying. She knows something!" Bhoomi persisted.
"Listen! I don't know why he walked away. If I knew..." I paused thinking of two possible continuations. One which would cause more drama and one that wouldn't. I decided to go with the response that wouldn't cause drama. "If I knew, I would have told you."
*Just out of curiosity, what was the other response!?*
I let out a small laugh-like sigh. "If I knew, why would I tell you? Who are you to know everything about him?"
*This one was better. However now that you are known to give back answers, should have just added it to the list!*
"Ivale yeno helirbeku! Nodi henge nagu cover maadtiddale!" Padma ajji pointed at me.
(She only must've said something to him! Look at her covering her laughter!)
"Naanu helbekagidre, yavagalo heli ee sambandhana nillisutidde." I replied
(If I had to tell anything to him, I would have stopped this alliance long back.)
"See! This is what I said! She is the one putting an evil eye on our dear Bhoomika!" Padma ajji continued.
"It is working! Isn't it!?"
My reply left everyone shocked. It took some time for everyone to regain themselves from the shock that I just served.
"What has gotten into you!? Ever since you've been talking to that Prajwal Gowda you've changed. You are no more our Amrutha!" Amar was the first one to recover.
"When was she even ours?" Padma Ajii dropped the question like a bomb.
